As i am listening to the radio and posting away in here time flies by. I decide to take a break and give my sister a call. My BnL answered. He said she was out in the puppy house giving some of her dogs hair cuts. Keeping all of her dogs trimmed up is one of her biggest jobs. While we were chatting away, I kept hearing these popping sounds. At first i thought it was TYPO, my cat playing with something. I had no idea what though. After ending the call I went to investigate. It was my 'boiled' eggs exploding because all of the water boiled off. DRAT! Out of a dozen eggs, 5 of them may be edible. The rest are scorched or exploded. Now the house smells funny to. I hate when this happens..

Gross smell, huh? That will teach you not to multi-task when one of the "tasks" is cooking.<snort>

That is the coolest name ever for a cat! Oh, uh and sorry about the eggs.

I named her TYPO because she is is black and white. All of her toes are white. When I first found her she would try to get between my hands and the Keyboard causing me to type even worse than I do.
The eggs weren't a total loss. The dogs like them. It's just really hard to peal what's left of them.

Well, dogs will generally eat anything that doesn't eat them first. Including remote controls.

The dogs get all kinds of 'treats' Fuzzy, the hunting cat, likes to sneak in with her catch of the day. If it's still alive, I try to get it and set it free. If it's already dead, the dogs get it. She rarely eats what she brings in. One time I did find a bunch or feathers and nothing else though.
TYPO just freaks out. She's all like hey I should be doing that. What ever THAT is.

I have eaten rabbits and squirrels but not from stealing them from my cat or road kill. I have a lot of hunters in my family. I'm not on of them. I'm more like TYPO in that area. I wont kill it but once it's dead, it's food.
'Gator tail is one of the things you'll find in many restaurants in this area. I only live about 20 miles from the swamp.

That so reminds me of the time when I like 14 or something. I was toasting my hotdog buns in my parents toaster oven. I got bored waiting being a young teen and started doing laundry and playing on my comp. Next thing you know it the smoke detector goes off. I'm like AHHHHH! rush to kitchen and the toaster oven was on fire. My parents haven't let me live it down since. But hey! I'm a chef now... I try not to cause too many fires anymore.
I've had Rabbit. It's like the proverbial potato in the culinary industry. If you cook it with anything it tastes just like. Doesn't taste so well when you make a jumbo with it and crawdads. Lamb is pretty good to. Never had gator or squirrel I think I would be afraid of it being roadkill. but I have had frog legs and escargo. really weird stuff.
I once had a cat name Mouse (hints the sn name) and he used to eat cockroaches. Being raised in Texas he used to chase after the flying ones. Then when he was done he would go over and lick my dad's feet. Just creepy and weird because they were the smelliest feet in the house. Cats are just weird that way I guess.

Correction, Mouse: YOUR cat was weird! Mine is just a PITA!
And I've seen Texan cockroaches. You could throw a saddle on the back of 'em. {shudder}

Pita? like the bread? Or like the animal group?
And texan cockroaches are weird... especially when they come FLYING at you! *shudders* that's why I moved to seattle. Roaches don't like the rain.
