THANK YOU, DEBI!
I LOVED the "FYI".
You're so right, Kira.
What was sad about Tara is that she let Sookie believe she was coming right back. I could see it even when she was telling her she was just going to Merlotte's because she wanted to see LaFayette. I just feel like she should've told her goodbye or something.
Yeah, Sookie would've tried to talk her out of it, but Sookie said she didn't want to be alone tonight and it was sad. Her haircut's cute though.
I thought Sookie's personality was "off" in this episode. She was more violent, vulgar, and vindictive than in past episodes.
It was inconsistent, as if someone else stepped in to write her character this week.
I don't like that.
Near the end, when she was with Tara, or visiting Gran's grave, and when she confronted Bill, she seemed more like herself, but the rest of the time, when she was around the vamps, especially Russell, at Fangtasia, she was odd.
What would Gran say? I understand characters evolve, but this was just weird, unusual and uncomfortable.
She's been in far more traumatic situations before without resorting to such a personality switch.
Yay, more Alcide. I think they set it up for a Sookie/Alcide hookup next season. Nice!
So, Debbie's "missing"? Hmmm...
So, will we have to wait until next season to deal with THAT drama? Sookie will kill her THEN? *sigh*
Shoulda killed her when you had the chance.
Alcide's family's debt to Eric is paid, and I have to think there's a reason for that.
Because next season, those two are both going to be courting Sookie.
Bill is finished. After Eric's revelation, she can't take him back.
He may have been able to justify shagging Lorena by saying she was his maker and she forced him.
And maybe the whole Russell shit was a ruse.
But going after Sookie by order of the queen and
letting the Rattrays beat her up is unforgivable! Hell no!
Okay, so maybe Alan Ball has made Sookie not as strong as Charlaine's Sookie, but she's not spineless.
Time to move on and never go back.
I thought it was cool that Eric said he was sorry it hurt but thought she had the right to know.
So, do you guys think Bill wanted to off people like the queen, Eric and Pam because they know what Sookie is, and just to protect her, or, like Eric said, to protect what he did, and his secret, from Sookie ever finding out?
Oooooo!
And just when Sookie could really use a shoulder to cry on, Tara's skipped town, Jason's taking care of a bunch of inbred weirdos and Sam's off shooting his little brother.
Speaking of, I *hate* this Sam storyline. I do not like Sam having a dark side.
So, LaFayette is not having a bad trip, he's opening some kind of powers, and he's having true visions.
And he saw blood on Sam's hands and heard in his head or past something like, "If you cross me, I'll end you."
I hate this.
Yes, Tommy is a punk. And he should not be stealing from Sam. Sam's done so much for him as it is. I really hope Sam only shot him in the leg, if at all. He could've changed into a dog and chased him down and jumped on his back to stop him, right?
I also hope that Jesus is not evil. Him being brujo doesn't necessarily mean bad. I think there will eventually be a showdown between him and Holly. She seems more inclined to evil, because of that spell she did to get rid of Arlene's baby. Seems like dark magic to me.
I wonder if they're going to give LaFayette powers. I hope not. I don't think everyone on the show should be supernatural. It'll be too congested.
I can't believe they killed Calvin Norris already. I hated that casting and the way they had him portrayed, but damn.
WTF- "Uncle/Daddy Calvin"? Eww.
Crystal is soooooo white trash. What does Jason see in her?
Now he's gonna take care of the rednecks of Hotshot that can't take care of themselves? What? OMG.
I feel bad for Terry, but I'm glad Sam apologized.
So, how did Bill do Eric's voice on the phone when he tried to off Pam? Is that something all vamps can do?
And who was this Reuben that he called?
Eric later said to Pam that now he's out an assassin. Did we ever see him before? I don't recall.
What was the significance of Bill & Eric's handshake when Bill tried to off Eric?
How did Pam get concrete in her hair? Did she save Eric?
OMG they should've killed Russell.
Eric wasn't willing to defy Godric by killing him, but was willing to bury him in concrete. How does that make sense?
Sookie going off to Faery was dorky. But the absolute WORST was her hand zap powers. Using them at Russell's insistence was L-A-M-E. The fact that she went outside Fangtasia and dragged Russell's crusty, likely heavy ass inside just because Eric wanted it was soooooo stupid. Why should she care, after what they all just did to her? Let him FRY!
Bill's fight with the queen at the end was so fake looking. It was all slo-mo and Matrix wannabe. I didn't like it.
