Could they make Sookie even more of a wuss? She takes Bill back? And in the very same episode in which they break up? Oh puh-leez. And she doesn't just take him back. She screws him on the floor- doing the nasty hard! Great. Way to stand up for yourself, Sook. And she had all that hunka-hunka burnin' wolf lying around to jump on top of and she didn't. Stoo-pid. So Eric played man love with Talbot while Russell was away to procure Sookie only to stake Talbot while he was in position. Oooo! Russell's never going to trust him now. I wonder if he'll snatch his dad's crown before he takes off. "Russell took my family from me and now I'm going to take his from him!" Rawr. It was cool to see Jessica and Bill training to fight werewolves together. That's what a maker is supposed to do! Tommy's already on my nerves. Chill out, lil' dude. I do not like the TV Calvin Norris. And that sucks because I like the book Calvin. Book Calvin wouldn't be cool with a dude beating the crap out of his daughter. (Wasn't she his niece in the book?) Plus, I don't like the look of this dude. I know I've seen him before and he was a bag of douche. How man times can Jason put his foot in his mouth or trip over his dick in one season? Which Stackhouse was a bigger dumbass in this episode? Telling the weirdos in Hot Shot that you're a cop and that you have the entire Sherriff's Dept. behind you when you show up there with a gun and go snooping without a warrant is Grade A stupid. Thumb's up, genius. I wanted to smack Sam's mom when she asked for money and when he gave her some and she looked at it and said, "This ain't gonna get us far." Ugh! The gall of that piece of trash! Am I the only person that thinks it's been too long ago that Rene died for Arlene to have been knocked up by him and not be showing? How could she just now be finding out she's pregnant and it be by him? I know when they told her how far along she was, she put the dates together and figured it wasn't Terry's, but what's the timeline between seasons? How much time has supposedly passed? Does anybody know?

I said the same thing during chat, Raven. How is it possible for her to be preggers by Rene and not even have a baby bump???

I said the same thing during chat, Raven. How is it possible for her to be preggers by Rene and not even have a baby bump??? Because Allen Ball jumped the shark last season?

I don't think it has been that much time between the end of Season One and the current season. Weeks. So instead of being 4 weeks preggers, Arlene is over three months? Maybe she was too busy being batshit crazy with Mary Ann to notice she missed her period.

I was assuming each season just picked right up where the last one ended, with essentially no time passing in between.

Russell was interesting. Slightly over the top. I liked when he mourned Talbot. I thought he seemed very old world. But at the end, it got cheesy. Nan being shown going down on the human and biting her, obviously playing the part of the hypocritical politician was great. She had just spouted her b.s. to Eric and Pam about only drinking TruBlood.
I liked the tender moments between Eric and Pam. It was sweet. I can't wait until he gets his revenge on Russell DustyPants.
It was cool to see Jason defend Tara, but "wooden bullets"? I thought Franklin was too easily dispatched.
I don't trust Holly. Was she in the books?
I still think Sookie and Bill shouldn't be together after what happened. She took him back and said she trusts him too quickly and easily. And him dreaming of Faery was LAME. Quite a stretch.
Crystal is sooo trashy. I thought they were going to show Calvin shift after Sam went crazy on him and beat the crap out of him in the bar. It's coming.
I hope Hoyt and Jessica get back together. They were cute. I thought it was cute when he said he can't stand his current gf, Summer.
It was cool that we got to see Sookie's cousin Hadley's son, Hunter.

I defended Nan in chat, I said the girl;s name was obviouslt True Blood because that is what she said she drank. Wooden bullets just seemed too smart for Jason. I was expecting silver, Holly is a witch in the books. She seems too good to be true, It would be nice to have at least one good character though. I totally agree with the rest. Hunter was a surprise. I did picture him smaller and blonder, You should come to chats after the show goes offf and hang out with us. We all miss you.

I love Russell's cheesiness!! "And now for the weather" *snicker*
But I have been kind of bored with the Sam/Tommy and Jason/Crystal plot lines. Yanno Tommy is up to no good!!
Holly is intriguing. Hope something interesting pans out.
Could Jesus be a shifter?? Hmmmm.....
While I like the actress playing Claudine (even though she is not tall enough!), I do not like the very cheesy faery land. Very corny.
But all in all, a fun season so far!! Plus our chats are so much fun - we miss you Raven!!!

I'll try to make it this Sunday after the show, although I won't have seen the show.
Yes, Claudine is too short. And Faery is cheesy, but we never had a glimpse of it in the books, so it could've been all cotton candy for all we knew.
Oooo Jesus a shifter? That's an idea! Poor "Lala" sure can't have a normal life, can he?

Just finished this week's ep. First, let me say, I hadn't realized how much I've come to rely on watching with all you guys in chat. I was making comments out loud while David and Ailish hunched lower behind their laptop screens and pretended not to hear me. They couldn't care less. Secondly, Sam. What the Holy Hell?? So Sam's a former cold blooded, murdering con man? Really?? Jesus and LaFayette have shamanism in their blood? Where's this heading? Russell, now in super industrial economy size crazy. For those that followed Buffy, does Eric and Sookie's relationship remind anyone else of Spike and Buffy (ala musical episode time frame)? You know, "I hope she burns. I better save her". Jessica and Hoyt! Yay! Curious to see Hoyt hyped up on Jessica's blood. Really, really missed chatting with you guys, but duty called. I'll let you know if any cool evidence turned up later.

We missed you too. It was some episode. Very dark and with only 2 episodes to go, I don't see it ending well.

I don't like the pacing of this season. Too much crammed in the first few episodes, then it lulled. Now there's too much crammed in these last 3. Is it safe to say there's no more Alcide? WTF, Alan Ball? We all know you like a good piece of man flesh, too. The best thing Stephen Moyer's got going for himself is his accent. Since he's not using it as Bill, toss him aside like the books do, and let Sookie ride the Alcide train all the way to Northman Station. Got it? Yeah! Best quotes of this episode, were as usual, LaFayette's, Eric's and Pam's. LaFayette to Jesus about the Norrises: "Them fuckers is a whole new dimension of trash." ^HA HA HA. I want a LaFayette! Pam to Eric, after interrupting his Sookie kiss: "Blah blah, vampire emergency, blah." ^That might be my favorite quote ever, as inarticulate as it is. Eric to Pam: "Your lack of sentiment has always been your most admirable quality..." Eric: "You know you have feelings for me." Sookie: "Eww." (LMAO.) Ooooo, they finally revealed Crystal's "other nature" and Jason looked scared out of his wits. Funny how he had just revoked Bill's invitation into his house. I wonder why Crystal did it. Was it because her father had disowned her? She had nowhere else to go? Wow. Russell staked that poor human hooker dude just so he could pretend he was there for Talbot's "true death"? Cray-zee. But I think they're showing that hella old vampires just really start to lose it after too long. I think Nan Flanagan is doing an excellent job with damage control, though. Does anyone care less than I do about Arlene's pregnancy? *yawn* Is anything significant going to be revealed about Holly before the end of the season? "I'm Wiccan" wasn't much and there are only 2 episodes left. I'm guessing it's going to do with the non-abortion that Arlene approached her about. Skank. I can't believe there are just 2 more episodes. 2 More Episodes Left PreviewPoor Terry. *hugs*
