Pam getting some (lay back and think of Estonia) and Eric calling Lafayette "sweetheart" were highlights, but Bill's "sex" scene was just too weird. He had his pants on! Plus I don't recall any movements to unzip or free anything choreographed into all that rage. Weird, weird, weird!

Mendi's looking at the details...lol I just thought the twisty neck was a bit much...well, A LOT much and did he really HAVE to screw her? ugh....
As for the invite into a home...Franklin told Jessica that they only need the invite into a living person's home.

I still say the neck twist would have severed her spine, thus killing her.

Yes, good thing Lorena exists in the wonderful world of television where all things are possible....or she'd have been a goner... *sigh*I sure wish Bill would have continued to twist her head until it popped off completely!
I hope Eric is not setting Lafayette up to take the fall with the Magister.

I like the way Franklin talks. *giggle* When he just stormed into Bill's house and Jessica was all, "Vampires can't enter a house unless invited..." He just said, "Human homes." So that answers our earlier speculation.
It was soooo gross in the first scene, when Sookie and Eric were trying to question that werewolf in human form in Sookie's house and Erica ended up killing him, sinking his fangs into his necka nd coming back with like, veins and tissue hanging out of his mouth. So gross. When Sookie heard the thoughts of the were and heard "Jackson," I thought Eric was sending her on a cold trail when he said Jackson, Miss. I was like, "No! Alcide's father's name is Jackson, isn't it?" But they ended up finding a lead in Jackson, so I guess Eric wasn't lying, trying to get her off Bill's trail after all. Although it still remains to be seen.
When the king was talking to Bill about Sookie and was saying that if he really loved her, he'd turn her, I thought he actually made sense. He was saying it was a matter of her welfare versus Bill's desire, and that Bill couldn't have both. Good point.
Poor Sam. His biological family sucks. He was better off not knowing them. Moving right along.
And WHO knocked up Arlene? She freaked in the doctor's office when she found out about the dates, so I'm guessing it's not Terry. And judging by the way she reacted when she told him she's pregnant and he thanked her for making him a daddy, that cemented it. It can't be Rene's, is it? It's not only 10 weeks ago or so that all that mess supposedly happened, is it? Who else has she been banging? I just don't care enough to remember, I guess. Poor Terry. You know it's gonna come out that the kid's not his and he's going to be crushed.
AWESOMEST QUOTE OF THE EPISODE:
Jason: "I got a lot on my mind lately." LaFayette: "That must feel new." <------LMFAO. He's the best.
So, didn't the Tara in the books gets all messed up with some vampire that screwed up her whole world? It wasn't until after her life got all jacked up and she put the pieces back together that she opened up that clothing store, Tara's Togs, right? Is Franklin the one?
Yeah, the Lorena sex scene was DISGUSTING. Twisted the head? Whyyy? Shock value? To prove he wasn't "making love" to her, as he said he never would. WTF was the purpose of that whole scene? Okay, we know, as readers, that he has to do it, but that scene felt rushed and out of place. She didn't order him, seduce him or anything. It was stupid.
Oh, but I'm liking Alcide. Had he shown up already by this point in the books? Why did I think Sookie hadn't hooked up with him until she knew she was done with Bill?
And what, exactly is the physiological reason for the red-rimmed eyes on the vamps?

That Bill and Lorena was messed up, I also think he should have just twisted her head completely off. I'm really liking Alcide so far and I can't wait to see the craziness that is Debbie Pelt.

Well get ready to see the Twisted Sister again. You know they'll show it in the "Previously on True Blood" recap.

I am really loving the baby vampire. She is just so funny and tries so hard to be tough and fails.

But I think it's realistic. As realistic as any of this can be, anyway.
I kinda like Franklin. I'm reeeeeeally a sucker for the accent, I think.

I loves the accent too Raven. I think that Franklin is going to be a lot of fun to watch although I strongly suspect he is up to no good.

When he was making the head talk it was so funny. Creepy and disturbing, but funny. I wanted to crawl over the back of the couch with Jessica, but I couldn't stop laughing.
