Just finishing up "Taste of Night" and about to begin my yearly trek into Middle Earth. I've read "Lord of the Rings" every year from April to October since I was eleven. I'm going to be thirty-nine in August. So I've read the trilogy twenty-eight times. I'm also planning on picking up some new graphic novels once summer comes along. I'll need something light to read on the plane to Disneyland hopefully in July.

Right now I'm rereading the Tribe of one series, book one Outcast, by Simon Hawke (just till a certain new book comes out ;D). it's a great set of books with a kick ass main char. it's set in the D&D Dark Sun world, the setting didn't last long, but while it was out they had some great stories. the books are out of print ATM but still worth picking up.

Just finished Bad Blood by LA Banks and Embrace the Night by Karen Chance. Now I am waiting impatiently on JF's One Foot in the Grave and a couple of others. Six more days.

I've just started Rachel Vincent's Stray. Good from the get-go.

I liked Stray and Rogue. Looking forward to the next one, I'm reading Personal Demon and I just got mt Hard Bound edition of Dead witch Walking by that other fabulous Red Head.

Reading Halfway to the Grave! ;D I just picked up Rogue today, so that might be my next one, though hopefully it will be One Foot in the Grave...if I can find it...right now I have a slight problem of getting to a bookstore when they're open and none of the wal-mart type stores have that one...

We have one (count 'em 1) bookstore where I live (it's a Hastings) but it seems to me that it's more about videos, music and electronics than books. So I buy my books online--it hardly ever occurs to me to check out the book section in Wal-Mart.

As far as I know, there is no true book store here. I am so spoiled by online shopping, I don't think I'd use it if there was one here.
Online is so much easier. Dow a quick search select the books I want, hit the one click buy button and wait 3-5 days for them to show up.
Nearly every time I have ever tried to shop in a store, I have a hard time finding what I want, the sales people are rude, ignore me or just make me want to take a baseball bat to them. I don't need the aggravation.
