The last move based on the book was at least the third one done. The Omega man was also based on I am Legend. The first one starred Vincent Price, but I don't remember the title right off hand. I just started Small Favor by Jim Butcher. I am loving it. I'm just up to chapter 5 I loved the snow ball training session and the Carpenter kids

Butcher is a master at his craft and a swell guy to boot. I had dinner with him and his wife in Houston last year on the first night of RT. A bunch of his fans met up with them at the cutest restaurant called The Hobbit. Good food and good company!
I am now reading Anne Bishop's Invisible Ring which is set in the same world as her Black Jewels Trilogy. Very enjoyable.

I don't 'know' him like I do Kim and Vicki. I never communicated with authors until I went to the BnN book clubs forum. Jim B. was the first UF author I read. Thanks to the sci-fi channel and him, I am here now.

Mentions of Daemon Sadi, but no actual appearances yet, other than Dorothea, that nasty WITCH! I really love the world building in these novels.

Yeah, I can't either but I know what you're talking about. XD Omega Man I'd probably like more because it's based off the book a lot more.

I finished The Invisible Ring, very good. I just started The Tangled Web (another Anne Bishop) again set in the Black Jewel trilogy world. This book is about Surreal, the former whore/assassin. Sounds like quite a gal, doesn't she?

I have the first book in that series I just haven't read it yet. The trilogy looks pretty good.

Sort of adopted cousin, I guess. She was taught her "craft" by Daemon Sadi, I think. I will have to reread the trilogy...I read it so fast (because it really sucked me in) that I can't remember a lot of the details. Anne Bishop does excellent world building.
I also want to reread The Vampire Earth series by E.E. Knight. I love that David Valentine. I read that series very quickly, too. I really liked all the references to the Midwest in the books. When D.V. visited Milwaukee, all the street names that were mentioned are streets I drive on everyday on the way to the day job. Gave me a vicarious thrill to read that.
