Yeah, Harry was cute. I liked the actor that was Bob, but I know what you mean. It didn't fit with the books. I think it will be great and can't wait for Sept. 7th! We should put that on our event calendar! ^Done! ;D

Many UF authors received those mailers, I explained what they were to both Patty Briggs and Lilith Saintcrow on their websites. I was surprised Vicki didn't get one unless she did and just didn't mention it to us. HBO is starting a "push" this month (July) in advertising and teaser video clips. Also "The Making of True Blood" including an interview with Charlaine and Alan Ball should be shown on HBO this month. The official website is up at HBO, they have a few items in the store. Personally, I think they need design help. www.hbo.com/events/trueblood/Charlaine is shopping for a "red carpet" dress to be worn at the premiere screening on Sept. 4th in Hollywood. She says she will be walking the red carpet....how cool is that? I hope we see some clips of that, too. Remember. we get to see it on Sept 7th, Sunday @9:00 PM.

Oh,yes, forgot to mention this...Charlaine will be at Comic-Con later in July, appearing on a Tru:Blood panel with Alan Ball, Anna Paquin (Sookie), Steven Moyer(Bill), and Alexander Skarsgaard (Eric). I seriously wish I could attend this one. I guess I will have to live vicariously when she comes back and tells me about it. Sigh....

I think it's time for me to switch to HBO. I love Dexter and will miss him but that's why God gave us Netflix and DVDs. Other than Dexter, Showtime sux.

Oh, you don't think i'd miss this now do you. you can help me pick a part everything they do wrong or different as the season progresses. I''m sure you remember the forst books way better than I do.

Oh, you don't think i'd miss this now do you. you can help me pick a part everything they do wrong or different as the season progresses. I''m sure you remember the forst books way better than I do. Well, I've read them so many times that I practically have them memorized. But...the show will not be exactly like the books, Charlaine has warned us many times that it is Alan Ball's "take" on the books, he has had to change the POV from 1st to 3rd, he will flesh out some of the story lines and completely ignore others. New characters will be added and others left out. But she is 100% happy with the scripts she has read and the episodes she has seen (the first two-but she wouldn't spill any details- DARN IT!). But, yes, I imagine we will have a fine old time nitpickin'. ;D
