HI Tanya - Sorry for the wait! If I had my way, the book would be in your hands now. Meanwhile, I can't really answer the Sola questions, but yes, the last pages of CHEAT reveal Jo is pregnant. Perhaps I should have been more explicit about it, but I like the sense of discovery when reading between the lines. The 'Ah-ha!' moment always gets my vote. ;-)
Thank you for writing - I'm thrilled you're enjoying the series!

Or the "Ah-ha" moment you have on this board when you read the posts and discover you totally missed the prego thing while reading the book. Which may or may not have happened to me. Although it kinda felt more like a "D'oh" moment! ;D
So don't feel too bad Tanya, you are not alone.
(However, don't tell the boss but I kinda like that she sneeked one by me....)

I'll admit it, I missed it entirely...then again I was too busy gloating about spotting the Su-Zoe connection...

Thank you! I can't wait. At least I have all my co-workers hooked on it now so I can have someone to talk about the books to. It's funmy when we start speculating over our cubicles. I have never ever re-read a book ever no matter how much I enjoy the book. Cheat the grave is the first time! I re-read the last 6 chapters. Even re-reading those few chapters. I found that I missed a lot of stuff.
I looked in the FAQs and I didn't see this information, so I thought I would ask. Are you planning on writing anymore books either outside of the zodiac series?

Even re-reading those few chapters. I found that I missed a lot of stuff. Oh yeah! And you'll find so much more in re-reading the entire series. Vicki plants little clues all throughout the series that don't become evident until later books. You'll re-read earlier books and go "Ahhh!" Things will make sense that didn't before. Earlier books take on a new light after you've read the later ones. You find all new meat in them. It's incredible. And you really begin to appreciate her writing skill. You'll answer many of your own questions in re-reading. Hunter's short will tell you more about Solange too- how, when and why she went to Midheaven. It's no secret, but I'm not going to retell the whole story when Vicki does it so much better. As for what she's up to after the Zodiac series, it's cool that you looked in the FAQs first, but the answer isn't there. I think she just mentioned it in the November thread.

Tanya,
Re. the coworkers - How fun! I used to do that with my coworkers when I worked out of the home (rather than inside my head :-) ) and we loved chattering about the characters in our favorite series. So that's thrilling for me, thank you.
And I'll have a new series starting c. 9 mos after the last Zodiac book, and will talk more about that the closer we get to release date. For now, just know I'm having more fun than ever writing it, so I think you'll like it too.
Thanks for chatting!

More fun than Jolivia and Hunter? That almost feels like you're cheating on them!

Not string you along so much as keep my focus on giving Jo a proper send-off.
Or she'll kick my butt.

So does the "new book" take place in the same world as Jo and company and begins roughly 9 months after TNG ends only with a different protagonist? Or is it a completely new "world"?
Inquiring minds want to know!! :-)

While there is nothing wrong with the old world, I hope it's a new one. I think it'd be more fun exploring a whole new place.
