I'm not sure if this is where this should be posted--and Vic mentioned it in her private section--but I wanted to make sure everybody here saw it. To celebrate the release of TOUCH OF TWILIGHT, I've posted an interview with Vicki on my blog, susanadrian.blogspot.comIf you post a comment over there today, you're entered to win a signed copy!

I like this one: Susan: Joanna, your heroine, discovers in the first book (The Scent of Shadows) that she has superpowers, among other things. It's been rumored that these books are actually a confession of your own super abilities. Can you tell us one of your own uber-mortal talents?
VICKI: I have the ability to bruise myself in my sleep. No kidding. I'll wake up in the morning with bruises and have no idea how they got there. Of course, the first fight scene in SCENT came to me in a dream, so maybe that's where I test a scene's plausibility. (My poor husband. He'd probably prefer it if I wrote romance.)
I have the same abilities but in the day light. I was shaving my legs the other day and noticed I had this huge bruise in the bent of my knee. How in the hell do you get a bruise there?!

Hee hee. I do that too. I've got the most bruised-up legs ever and I don't know where the bruises are from. Sometimes, there are welts the size of golf balls, and you'd think I'd remember where I got them from. Nah. I'm clutzy though too. Vicki, that musta been interesting as a showgirl- being the one in the line having black and blue limbs! ;D

Two, actually. The winner of the signed copy was Piper. I also am throwing in a bonus prize copy I'm buying from Amazon (to boost Vic's first-week sales, natch)--that winner was Night Critter. Is either from here?

I don't believe so. Neither name ring a bell. But thanks for taking the time to announce the winners here. Congrats to the winners anyway. You're such a sweetheart, Suze, for doing all of this.

I wouldn't be where I am without Vic. Anything I can do, I'll do.
