The movie of The Raven had pretty much the same cast as Cask of Amontillado and they definitely play that one as a comedy.

Now that I think of the Raven it sounds likeit might be from a schizophrenia's point of view. We've been over over that in my psych class but it does sound like a schizo. I'll have to reread it to see if it really is or not but yeah. XD

Well, it is about psychology...if you look at it, every question he poses to the Raven is designed to elicit the only response that the Raven ever gives as a negative...
If he just asked positive questions it wouldn't have been so dark...that's the point behind it...he was his own worst enemy...

Just got word from my uncle that a movie is being made called "Tell-tale" with a heart as its logo...he suspects it's a version of Poe's story... www.imdb.com/title/tt1135095/ Confirmed that on IMDb...He was up in Rhode Island doing an audit on them (he works for IATSE)...
