Arya is one of the best characters in the book, imo...Not surprised Sansa has an angry expression, after all, through most of the first book she's perpetually angry, especially at Arya, but also at the entire situation...
Yeah, I hope they do the Eyrie right, that really is an epic location!
How's Brandon in the show?

On the show he is just waking up from his 'fall'. We're waiting to see Hodar. M.O.O.N...that spells HODAR!

Arya is my favorite character in the books and that's what I'm waiting to get back to reading with the latest one. I really liked Eddard too but....that first book was a doozy. Never liked Sansa--twit...and Jamie may be good-looking but he's an arrogant f*ck. Never did like him in the books. Love the Tyrion character in both book and series.

I can't wait till next season. I do have to say, I was thoroughly disgusted in the scenes with, gah, so bad with names...Catelyn's sister with her son hanging on her tit. Yes, it was in the book but seeing it just gave me the willies. {shudders} Loved the baby dragons

It was worse in the book but I agree, it was just sick.

It was pretty good I think. It was like visual cliff notes, but well done. I didn't notice any real departure from the books but of course there were things left out. Most of the major plot points were there.

That's good to hear...we've seen how easily shows can diverge from the books they're based on...I'm not too worried about condensing, after all, even the better acclaimed mini-series have to leave a lot of stuff out and still work very well...
