Since this seems to be the thread where Book 5 is (cautiously) discussed, I wanted to ask if the cover artist has been selected for Cheat the Grave?
I really love the covers Christian McGrath did for the first 3 books but I would love to see his work on another book in the series. Any chance McGrath will be back for Cheat the Grave?
That said, I have to admit that the artist's interpretation of Olivia on City of Souls was closer to the way I pictured her -- so no complaints from me either way.
This inquiring mind is just being nosy.

I'm pretty sure that the cover of CTG is going to be more in the way of COS. Yes, the McGrath covers were awesomeness, but I think they just decided to go in a new direction.
Vicki will bite me and correct me if I'm wrong though.

Hey MB --
I agree, McGrath is a creative god. Raven's right, though; the house chose to go in a different direction. I like the CoS cover very much, but miss the darkness of McGrath's vision. Fortunately, I've seen some mockups from a new cover artist and it looks like they're going to retain elements of both while making it grittier again. As soon as I know more I'll post it here, but it looks like they're working hard to capture the tone of the series.

*waves to Vic* Just a little question: What's the name of the artist who designed the cover of CoS?

Hi Nat -
I don't know! But if you look closely, you'll see it's the same artist and model (same photo shoot even) as on some of Yasmine Galenorn's books. Just different treatments by different houses.
