Ooo, Outer Limits. Loved Bewitched (weird how both those guys who played Darren looked so much a like...or did I just dream that?)

Oh, and Captain Kangaroo was my favorite. I loved the rabbit that would steal the carrots from Mr. Greenjeans. Was he just called "Bunny Rabbit"? And his friend Mr Moose with the ping pong balls? I remember later episodes with Bill Cosby and Pictures Pages.

I still need brain bleach from Sonny and Cher. I watched it, and it hurt. ;D The all-time greatest : The Muppet Show!! Waldorf and Statler, Dr. Bunson Honeydew and Beaker, Pigs in Space. Best show ever. (ok, maybe not, but I still loved it) Definitely best show ever. I have several episodes on DVD. My favorites are the ones guest starring Vincent Price and Alice Cooper.

Oh, and Captain Kangaroo was my favorite. I loved the rabbit that would steal the carrots from Mr. Greenjeans. Miki, do you remember the banana man on Captain Kangaroo? He wore baggy clothes and he would pull strings of bananas out of his pockets and say "ooooooh" in a high whiny voice like he was surprised to find all those bananas in there. Totally weird and stupid, but I remember laughing hysterically at him, possibly the first manifestation of my quirky sense of humor. Mr. Green Jeans was such a dork. In used to love The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour with Pat Paulson and Leigh French. Remember when Pat Paulson announced his campaign as a write-in candidate for president? And the dude got votes in the presidential election.

Ooo, Outer Limits. Loved Bewitched (weird how both those guys who played Darren looked so much a like...or did I just dream that?) And didn't both actors have the same first name?

Debi, I'm not remembering the banana man on Captain Kangaroo, but that might be selective. lol
I remember the Smothers Bros. show; we watched that too.
And T, both actors first name was Dick. Dick York was one of them.
Oh and I just remembered the other was Dick Sargent (sp)

Loved Bewitched - i think one of them was gay oh Dick Sargent the second Darrin he came out after the show finished - good on him i say I grew up watching Play school & Sesame street like almost everyone but also loved I dream of Jeanie. The one thing i don't get these days is what happened to Sat morning cartoons..? there is SFA on, that's right people have to get cable to get the good shows. duh

I loved those shows too, emberly! Except I wasn't a kid when they were on. Quantum Leap always makes me think of my mother-in-law. She INSISTED on calling it Quantas Leap. It always drove me crazy and I would ask her if it was an airline show. She didn't get it.
