I got one. Vicki, Do you believe in astrology? That we're at all influenced by when we were born, or the alignment of the planets...? I do believe in it to a degree. I have to, I suppose, to write what I do. The more I research it, the more I discover to admire about it. But what I really believe is that the wrong info (or even the right info) given at the wrong time can be extremely dangerous. Even the belief that something is going to happen can cause someone to either push for it too soon, or sit back and let it happen as destined (when what really needs to happen for it to come to pass is work on the part of the recipient). So I'm much more in favor of trusting one's own gut instinct...and if you're not sure, don't act until you are. But that's just me! (Forgive the horrible syntax of the above paragraph. I've been scribbling all day and am in no mood to go back and edit! Bleh!)

I am glad to hear that you are interested in astrology. I have been studying astrology for 30 years and find it very interesting myself. However, it is much more complex than reading your sun sign in the papers. A natal chart can provide marvelous insights into character traits and available choices. But I never been much interested in predicting the future, for myself or for anyone else. What I use astrology for is to get suggestions about what factors are in play in a situation. But gut instinct always trumps a mercury retrograde or anything else for that matter, at least for me.
And I don't know where the word astrologist came from (I have seen it occasionally in the media) but I have never heard a professional (or amateur) astrologer use it.

Well, Astrologist is literally "a person who studies the science of astrology"...I'm surprised they don't use it, since so many are adamant about the fact that Astrology is a science and not just supersticious mumbo-jumbo...

Who over the age of 5 isn't? Short can be a good thing. You can reach all the lower shelves much easier for example. No matter how tall someone is, there is always someone taller.(until you get to the tallest person on the planet anyway)
