I have a feeling they'll find out next week.

I watched the series finale because I just had to. I LOVED this show for years and wanted to see how they ended it. A few things: WTF- Tess is a Luthor? So, was she a good guy or a bad guy? Seems like she was working with the good guys to some degree. WTF- Oliver and Chloe got married? Funny how when the world is coming to an end, she gives Clark this big mushy hug, but ignores her cousin and her new HUSBAND! Oliver follows her out of the house to smooch her. Which brings me to the point that even my daughter was repeatedly saying, "You people don't have time for making out, the planet is about to blow up!" (I didn't even know my daughter knew what 'making out' was.) Lionel looked like hell. Even before Darkside took his soul. (Lionel had a soul?) Jonathan's reapparance was slightly lame. Martha flipping out about Clark selling the house was stupid. Sorry, lady, but you bailed. He's a grown-up now with a job in the city and he has every right to move out. She certainly did! I know I missed A LOT and they were trying to show Clark cutting ties with his past, but that aspect was dumb. Cloning Lex- dumb. I did LOVE seeing Michael Rosenbaum as Lex again, I think he makes the show, even though I love Tom Welling to bits. It did feel rather pointless though, his return. But what did Tess say to him before she died? He was going to forget everything up to that point? Something about Summerholt...? I saw MR on Attack of the Show today and he was hilarious. He said they used a skull cap thing to make him bald for the finale when he used to shave his head when he was on the show regularly. They showed a clip and he said that the cap makes his head look bigger and called the bone in the back of his head a boneR because his protrudes farther than most people's. Anyway, Clark and Lois couldn't find time in 7 years to get married? Puh-leez. Lois did actually look pretty- I usually think she looks old or just UGH. Her storming the board room on Air Force One and giving that speech was LAME-O. Cheesy. I'm surprised she didn't pull her "rank" as general's daughter. So where did Lana scamper off to this time? Not that I miss her too much. And Kara too. She bored me. Oh, and the best part... OMG HE FINALLY FLEW! ;D

Tess has been a luthor for a season or two now...she'd already been turned to the good side by the time she discovered it so it caused her even more angst...All in all I didn't think it was a bad ending, though they could have cut back at least a little on the interpersonal drama to give us an actual fight between darkseid and supes...That's the one thing I really missed in the epi...one big, decent battle...All of the badguys went down way too easily...
And yes, Ravie, Tess slipped Lex a mickey that wiped his memory clean of everything, explaining exactly how he becomes the true enemy of Supes without the knowledge of who he really is...

I was a little disappointed. There was no "What's that up in the sky?...." There was the perfect opportunity but they blew it.
After all we went through the ending seemed a bit too easy and rushed. Over all, it was still pretty good.

I did have that issue with it too...they put so much drama in that the actual saving the day took like 3 minutes tops!
