Conversely, I really liked it. There were some things that irked me like how they revealed Teddy (Lupin and Tonk's son). I did like the 3D, though it really ...wasn't needed. There were some neat effects with it, but I won't pay the extra if I go see it again. But oh my goodness...the acting was well done. Alan Rickman ... nuff said. Sorry I'm not more coherent ... awake 17 hours on 5 combined hours of sleep. worked both jobs yesterday and today, so I think I'm finally crashing all the way and it's time to go curl up in bed and snooze. poke at me, and I'll try to be more coherent tomorrow.

I saw Harry Potter this morning and I guess I liked it more than Vampy but less than Elle. I did not pay the extra bucks for 3D and am not sorry. Thought it dragged a bit and the color in the movie was very very dark. I understand there is a reason for this, but still. Great effects and acting but it somehow did not pack the emotional wallop that the book did for me. Liked the scene with Harry and his parents and others the best. 4/5 popcorns.
I find that sometimes when a movie is really raved about, I am inevitably disappointed a bit. I am much better off not expecting anything.

I hope you like it as much as I did.
One thing about a lot of these Alien movies that I don't understand is why they so often make the aliens all growly and monster like. These guys travel billions of miles through space just to act like big angry animals?
I don't expect them all to be like Star Trek aliens and speak perfect English but they should be smarter.

Well, I absolutely loved Harry Potter! I was thoroughly entertained--no need for 3D for me. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD. And I liked that the end scene was like in the book. ;D

Saw Harry Potter this week...We did end up seeing it in 3D...not sure if the 3D really added much to it, but it didn't detract from it either...Fortunately, the place I saw it only charges $1 extra for 3D...probably wouldn't have needed it from our usual place which charges an extra $4...

Saw Captain America couple days ago and enjoyed it.
Saw Cowboys & Aliens this morning and also enjoyed it. I think it could be a possible prequel to Skyline *nods*

This is more of a DVD review than a recent movie. It was called The Resident, starring Hilary Swank. My first thought was 'This has to be every woman's nightmare.' Then of course I thought of y'all.
I watched it without knowing what it was about. At first, I thought her apartment was haunted. It's worse, the bad guy isn't a ghost, it's a real guy, a really messed up one. He will really creep you out.

Took my sisters to see this. Best movie ever! Remember based on a true story doesn't = a true story.

So I watched the American version of 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' wow what beautiful imagery, the scenery was fantastic and well captured. There were cringe worthy moments a plenty, Enyas sail away playing as back ground music while being strung up to be killed = Creeeepy, i had to look away at a certain scene as it made me shudder with wrongness but over all a good thriller/murder mystery I give it 5/5 popcorn's as i was well entertained.
As for the three musketeers - well its no man in the iron mask but super fun & loads of action 3.5/5 popcorn's

I am still kicking my self in the butt. Back when I first got my Kindle, or shortly after, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was a free book... I didn't get it.
