Another great game from Bethesda Soft. Sure like all of their previous titles, it's got it's share of bugs and glitches. Still it's a blast to play. I'm loving it. I'm playing a very stealthy mage that likes bows and poisons. He's working very good so far. On of the things that's really fun in this gamed is fighting dragons. It's not easy but it can be done. I've killed 6 so far and I just made level 20(50 is cap) When a dragon dies, the character can absorb their soul. Dragon souls are used to unlock dragon shouts the character learns as (s)he explores the world. I know 4 shouts so far. They come in real handy if I remember to use them. Skyrim is a vast wide open land with tons of places to find, people to meet and quests to do. One warning, if you're spider phobic, you may not like it. There is already a mod that changes all spiders into bears. Here's a video

My son and I both got Skyrim for Christmas and I have become completely absorbed in it. I started out trying to be a mage but I have a tendency, after getting killed trying to get a fireball off enough times, of grabbing a greatsword and hacking the sh*t out of anything in my way. So my Destruction skill is at 26 but my two handed sword is pushing 40. But it is huge fun!! I have only killed two dragons so far. It would be a lot easier if they would hold still!!!!

OMG. that was too funny. I ended up using Sneak, bow and conjuration a lot. To get my stealth up fast, I picked the thief skill set, go into a dungeon and hide not far from the bad guys. Then I'd summon a bow and shoot arrows to the other side of the room. The all run over to the far wall in search mode and m stealth just gets better and better. Summon bow is good for this because you never run out of arrows and the ones you use are free. Try casting Soul trap on dead stuff a few times. It makes that skill go up pretty fast. Oh using summoned weapons increase conjuration and the weapon skill at the same time. Most of the dragons I killed were with a bow, from cover while my summoned critters did all the fighting. I usually use 2 daedric lords to fight for me once I got the skill up there. I love the game and it's versatility. You can just about play any type of character anyway you want to. I had a wife that was a merchant so there was always a little extra cash. Yep, I put her to work.

Funny Skyrim related video. Fos RO Dah! is one of the main shouts learned in the game.
