Here is the situation. The nanny is playing ball with the little boy. Everything is fine until he breaks a cup on the table with the ball. It scares him and he starts crying.
The black and white cat thinks the nanny is threatening the kid and goes into protect mode. I think the Grey cat is the referee.

I just like the fact that it is trying to protect the kid. I hope it didn't get in trouble for that...or mayby that was it's favorite cup.

Well the cat didn't know that. All it saw was kid in distress must save the kid from the outsider. They can always get a new nanny.

That's pretty impressive. My cats would either scream and run or take an intense interest in grooming to avoid being blamed.
