If you haven't read all the books and fear spoilers, STAY OUT!
(I've copied mine from the big thread. Feel free to do the same to yours.)
SCENT OF SHADOWS
page 126
"If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but much less magical."
...
"Who said that?" I asked, slicking my hair back with one hand as I looked up at him.
"The dudes who created South Park."
TOUCH OF TWILIGHT
page 4
Joanna to Regan:
"Hurt him and I'll finish the lobotomy your mother so clearly fucked up."
SCENT OF SHADOWS
page 5 (Joanna is on a blind date from hell. Ajax says...)
"Or, fine. Why don't you pretend that you have a sense of humor?"
"I could," I said, nodding slowly, "but then I'd have been laughing from the moment you walking in the door."
See? My sense of humor was as broad as anyone else's.
When Ajax says something about only being there for an easy lay, she says:
"And what? Your mother wasn't available?"
CITY OF SOULS
p. 32 Harrison and Jo
"In a safe sone? Do you think I'm stupid?"
"Yes. Ugly, foul-smelling and and in-bred too."
p. 40 Jo
"Shut up!" I closed my eyes and thought of grassy fields and fuzzy bunnies and shit.
p. 77
The dismantling of a dream was also a sort of death.
p. 110
I didn't care how dead sexy and life-affirming she was, nobody touched me without permission.
p. 240 Jo & Regan
"What do you want?"
"You. On your knees before me. Your skin shredded so finely it looks line angel hair."
"So you want to be twins?"
p. 310 Hunter to Jo
"This is important. Don't believe him. Warren, I mean. There's absolutely nothing wrong with you. Not even in the darkest corner of that beautiful soul."
p. 323 Tulpa & Jo
My creator once considered the very same thing. He felt my power growing, and knew too well what thoughts had gone into creating it. Do you want to have a guess at what those elements were?"
"Snakes? Snails? Puppy-dog tails?" I gave him a bitter smile.
"Venom. Vice. And everything nice."
p. 327 Jo's thoughts about Warren
I looked at him then, and wondered if he'd forever run off everyone I depended upon and loved. For the first time, I also wondered if he was the one keeping me apart from my mother. I wondered if I professed my love for him, if he'd simply go away. Because that one might be worth a shot.
