Vicki, I was hoping Skamar would eat Warren too. Sadly, no dice lol Your Literary Escapism interview was awesome,by the way! I do have a little question though...You said that you liked to take the worst things that could happen to Jo and turn them into the best, and vice versa. So you ended CTG with a little hope...Does that mean you're gonna turn the hope into despair by any chance?

Finished. Loved it. They get better and better. I have to admit that I didnt enjoy mopey Jo at all, seriously i wanted to toss the book but I didnt want to hurt my kindle. But the last half more than made up for it and I know it was something she had to go through.
Suzanne as Zoe ---- totally have to take back our "no she isn't" from one of the speculation threads lol. I never considered it a real possibility and the last scene with her and Jo made me cry. I hate it when you make me cry Vicki.
I had to read the end a few times and i still wasnt sure she was really pregnant but if everyone else is saying yes, ill go along with it!

I didn't mind crying for Cheat the Grave because it was so awesome. I usually hate getting all weepy. I didn't mind Joe being mopey. I LOVED the new characters, and thought they really brought a lot to the story and offset Jo's sadness.
Man was I the ONLY one who didn't suspect a thing about Suzanne?

Mayyyybe. Oh, Nat. Why do you ask the hard questions? I might give you a little breathing room. Relax ... and share your cupcakes if you know what's good for Jo. [..Does that mean you're gonna turn the hope into despair by any chance?]

Are you kidding? I live to make you cry. And sitting on Suzanne for four books has been torture. Sheesh! As for the rest ... whee. Finished. Loved it. They get better and better. I hope not (and I don't think so, from the mail I've been getting). I designed it that way, though if you were looking close ... I didn't mind crying for Cheat the Grave because it was so awesome. I usually hate getting all weepy. I didn't mind Joe being mopey. I LOVED the new characters, and thought they really brought a lot to the story and offset Jo's sadness. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the new characters. Seriously, loved them and never saw it coming Could be my favorite part of the book.... well other than the Hunter smooching, even if it was under bad circumstances

[..Does that mean you're gonna turn the hope into despair by any chance?] In other words...You'll lull me into a false sense of security and then pull another CoS. *whimpers* lol Tiff, I really like the newbies too! They seem like an interesting bunch! And I'm also partial too all the Hunter scenes. Even if they ended with torture and pain ...I hope we see more of him in book6.

Help!
I read and finished the novel today, but completely missed any news of Jo being pregnant. Is she pregnant in the end and where does this clearly come up?

Strawberry, I have to agree with you there...somehow I completely missed that part myself! Glad I'm not the only one...
The Grays are wonderful...love the addition there...but most of all, I cheered out loud when Suzanne/Zoe turned around with the shotgun! Yeah, CoS she was just giving advice that was a little too pertinent to the situation...I started to doubt a little, at the begining of CtG when the timeline was being explained, but then I was forgetting that Olivia (and hense Cher) were a couple of years younger than Jo, so the numbers did add up...

DL - the end when she puts her hand on her belly and says thats where her connection to hunter is. I think the "Io told you" to Carlos at the end is in reference to it as well. Those are the things that hinted at it to me, but i wasnt 100% sure it was supposed to be clear lol.

I didn't even think of her being pregnant... I believe I thought it had something to do with different organs having connections to others (if I have that right, it's been a couple months! But I am buying the novel tomorrow)...OMG THAT WOULD BE AMAZING THOUGH... I always miss things the first time I read them... I swear I read the book so fast! I have to go re-read I LOVED THE BOOK BTW and the title page... her weapon has to be the trident, right???
