Hope it is ok to make this thread. Won't actually post my thoughts yet until the admins approve the thread. Maybe too soon to have this thread and all

OK, let's try this. I finished the book for the first time, and am starting my second run. Don't read this until you finish the book for the first time. Sorry Scribbler, but had to do this. Now we know who Hunter is. And who Jax is. I have a few problems that I am sure will be answered in the next book. First, Hunter showed Jolivia how to get into the warehouse. She is the ONLY one other than Hunter to know how to get in. Hence Warren shouldn't be writing her off so soon. He needs her. There are conduit plans there, as well as it is the training ground for the Zodiac of Light.
Warren gave Jax a second chance, why wouldn't he give Jolivia one too?
When Jolivia went to MidHeaven, she was given her powers as gaming chips. She still has these.... hidden in the warehouse. So she has access to them.
Skamar, being a Tulpa, and the strongest of all Tulpas, should be able to infuse Jolivia with these chips, giving her back her powers. Skamar owes her for fixing the changling. She should aslso be able to restore Jolivia's healing powers.
If Jolivia gave her life for the changling, how is she alive? One has to die for the other to live, or so it was said.
By giving the changling her essense, does that make the changling the new Archer?
There were only 6 Light zodiacs, losing Hunter brought it to 5 and losing Jolivia brings it to 4. Why would Warren allow such a lack within his troop? They are now hugely outnumbered.
Alternatively, if Jolivia is no longer a member of Zodiac, then she should be able to leave Vegas, after getting her chips, and go to another town, find the MidHeaven entrance, enter, and Hunter and Solange now owe her to restore her powers where she can join the troop there.
These thoughts are due to the prophesy. There are still other signs that haven't come into play, so Jolivia, being the Kairos, isn't done yet.

This book ripped my heart out, tore it to shreds and stomped on it for good measure...but I just loved it so very much. Is that massochistic of me? lol Vic, no one writes emotion like you do!!!!!! I'll leave the rest of my thoughts for later when everyone's read it! ;D

I think it was the best so far. Scent grabbed me. I loved Jo's attitude right off the bat. I was instantly hooked. But this one was so full of raw emotion and it brings out secrets and action and makes you think. Real evolution of characters and author here. It's great!
I can't wait to see what DL says about Hunter! Hell, what you ALL say about Hunter.
And shit, about Warren!

Raven wasn't saying I didn't love it, because I did! Hey, I warned it was big spoilers in my post, and I used spoiler tags.
I personally consider Vicki as my number one fave scribbler, in fact everyone I meet I recommend her books to them.
The action and adventure was outstanding, the emotion, as others states was raw and exhilarating, the "in your face"ness was outstanding, and Regan was hilarious!! I applauded when I saw that one.
I sort of knew who Jax was though. Not specifically, but rather WHAT and where he was.
I just had a question about those few things I mentioned above.

I, too, loved this book!!!! Great job Vicki! Your writing and story-telling ability has gotten even better! I love your imagination - I have no idea what is going to happen next when I read your books. Loved the midheaven!! Very trippy! And you neatly solved a few problems and created a bunch more! Are you trying to drive us crazy?? I still stand by Hunter, BTW. He is just misunderstood, much like Raven's demon kitteh! Also greatly relieved that Jasmine and Li are okay now. Not so sad about Regan's demise. How much more could you do to her anyway?

I'm not a Hunter fanatic like some people around here. But while I was reading all I think was "What will all the Hunter groupies on the forum say?" And I did a little evil laughing of my own.

I still love Hunter. I have hopes and dreams he has a good reason and have a few ideas what that could be and they would excuse him in my eyes

T...I was thinking the same thing. This is the best book (IMHO) in the series. I started it and did not put it down until I was finished reading it. It was sooooo hard not to discuss it until today.
