Ok, I don't understand the first line of that first interview. What the heck's a "veteran nude dresser"?

here's an explanation of a nude dresser:
From the comment sectin: Holly dresses the tall nudes for the “Folies Bergere” show at the Tropicana. Turns out, another professional dresses the shorter nudes. They have elaborate costumes (even though they are “nude” when on stage….)

You guys should be leaving comments on those pages. Not like the pervy comment Vampy just made though.

Here they were. Don't be going to that lady's site and saying you would enjoy her job of nude dressing. That's pervy!

Every room (showgirl, dancers, acrobats, male and female, principals) have a dresser or two assigned to them. If there's a "wardrobe malfunction" they are there to sew the costume on your body. If you have a quick change, they're the ones to preset the costumes and help you in and out. They do maintenance work on all the costumes (yes, including sequins) so they stay beautiful, including replacing plumes, doing laundry, and so on. The show would literally fall apart without them. "Nudes" is a leftover term from when it was very adult/cabaret. So, Holly would float from room to room - she was with the dancers for the longest time and she was with me in Jubilee when I worked there, too - but now she's the showgirl dresser. (Until the Folies closes next month, that is). She's also a pre-pubbed writer! Keep your fingers crossed for her because she's submitting now!
