Stace - I know -- those were the ones she was taunting me with while I was working!

{snicker snicker} Yes we were merciless in our efforts to distract the disciplined VP from her duties and coax her out into the night. LOL But she could not be moved.
Raven..there is a fire pit just in the middle of the lounge area. about 10 people maybe can sit around it.

It's just about the start of the official 'holiday season' and I thought I'd kick the Peppermill thread back up to the top so all those happy holiday cocktail recipes would have somewhere to live. My husbands favorite hoiday party kick off is a shot of veeeeery chilled Jeagameister (excuse spelling) our friend calls it the happy buzz maker. I call it cough syrup but hey, to each his own.

***the waitress wipes the table with a tired sigh as I lift my glass of 'holiday cheer' out of her way. "Thanks, Sarah. Quiet night, huh?" She straightens and wipes the back of her hand across her forehead, hot from the glowing flames nearby. "Yeah, it's just not the same around here without the twilight regulars. You think they'll ever come back?" I take a sip of my chilly cocktail and smile. "Yeah, they'll be back. Last I heard they're on vacation, be back around July." "Well that's a long wait," she said as she moved on to the next table. I sat my drink down and stared into the fire. "You said a mouthful." ****
OKay...I got a little carried away. I just figured I'd knock this thread up to the top again to make it easy for our poor MsKay to find, She needs educating.
Also, I thought I'd share my recipe for "Holiday Cheer". I may have last year. Can't recall. This was originally created by a fellow online friend. He has some fancy name for it, but I just like 'holiday cheer'. It's sweet, but damn tasty. If you want you can up the vodka to give it more edge.
Equal parts Frangelico Kahlua Butterscoth Schnapps and Vodka.
Shake them all over ice to chill well and serve in whatever glass you like. It works well as a pitcher too for parties.
slante
hmmm...don't mind if I do.

Finally got around to trying an old quick one that was on my list of drinks to try:
It's called a Bucking Irish but I call it Irish Champagne: 5 oz. ginger ale 1.5 oz. Jameson Irish Whiskey ice
The ginger ale brings out the honey taste in the whiskey. Yum.

Hey Stacey, I tried your holiday cheer recipe...used 1 1/2 oz. of each I only had the one drink but it gave me a buzz! It was good though; apparently, I'm a light weight like Nat.

Oops forgot one more taken by our friend Ginger on her phone. It's fuzzy but still pretty good.
