I loved learning more about Zoe and Warren in The Harvest. If anyone hasn't read this prequel yet, you should - it explains so much about Joanna's situation that she doesn't even know.

WooHooo Looks like I'm in the top 5 posters! I must agree with Raven and Aleta. What I liked most was the insight into Warren and what drives him. Also the fun that it poses as many questions as it offers answers. Way to go on the new board!!

Yes! We definitely saw a whole new side to Warren. It made me cut him more slack when he was being an ass to Jo when I re-read the Zodiac books recently. I guess I understand where he's coming from. And don't forget the insight we got of the Tulpa. Am I the only one that sorta wants Zoe and Warren to get together and work it out though? Kinda like Jo and Ben. A turbulent happily-ever-after, I suppose.
And the vulnerability of the Tulpa was very interesting. He actually loved Zoe. He's actually a sucker like the rest of us. I love the whole thing about how he has to check in the mirror to see what the person is thinking of him. Eerie. So he's not quite fully formed or what? Does he not have a face when he's all alone?

Pre-quels are almost always a good thing. Using the short story format is a great way to get some vital information out to the readers of a series. i

That's been happening to me in my writing, I've started with a short story and suddenly the characters jump to the forground after I'm done with it and insist on a novel or series of their own I got a chance to read Harvest a bit early and absolutely LOVED it! Then again, the notes that came with it were a thrill as well

lol, I remember when Vicki asked how I liked it and I told her I thought it was cute. >.> It's not MY fault I turn stupid when ever someone I admire asks me something. >.>
I thought it was a fun read. ^^ What tickled me was that it was released on my birthday. I thought that was great. XD

Yeah, I'm not honestly sure how I would deal with being asked for my oppinion...On the one hand I've done quite a bit of beta reading for friends who are aspiring authors, on the other hand, none of them were established before I met them...there's a level of familiarity with them... I know from my old life (theatrical technician) that when I'm around established professionals I tend to resort to quite, wall-flower, professional mode...and since I'm certainly not an english major, I don't feel any more qualified to respond than I would if John Cena had asked my oppinion...

After reading the Harvest and rereading the series I so do not give Warren any slack. In my opinion he should see where Jo is coming from. Like a kindred in Jo. He should be the one giving her the most slack. They should form a group 'Zoe's damage Control'
I so want Zoe and Warren to get back together. They would be such a kickass team. Though I want Jo and Hunter together. It would never work out with Ben. He's part of her past that would only get hurt and cause trouble. He's soo cannon fold. Plus I think he would be weirded out about Jo being Olivia. And Hunter and Jo's sexual energy is so intoxicating. They are so right for one another. I'm all for giving the new guy a chance in her life.
I think the Tulpa is formed in his image to him. But from what I get is that his image changes on 'eye of the beholder'. Maybe when he's along his image is how he sees himself or how his creator saw him. Would be an interesting piece to see. And I don't blame him for being angry at Zoe and the agents. They sent him someone he fell in love with then shattered his love. He has a broken heart.
All in all I want to see Zoe in the present. And her reaction to everything that has happened.

The whole first paragraph. It'a all speculation, just our opinions.
I like your idea of maybe what the Tulpa looks like when he's all alone though.
Somebody should be awarded the final ARC of Touch tomorrow. I haven't been able to talk about it with anyone but Vicki, and she just laughs her evil laugh at me.
