Oh, did I screw up the link again? I do that all the time. Grrrr...
For those of you who read, I'm so glad you're liking it! I thought it was neat for Eos to offer a good portion of it up for free, and I hope they do so for more of my books. I **heart** my publisher!
Off to scribble...

One of the posters on the Charlaine Harris board mentioned she bought it today also. I don't know which store had it out early. Maybe I will make a Border's run tomorrow...I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket!

Isn't bad for the author when they sell the books before they are supposed to?

It isn't ideal, no. But the publisher clearly hasn't put a hard on-sale date for this one, so the bookstores are putting them out on the shelves if they have them (reasonable as they can't be sold sitting in the back). Plus it's a big holiday weekend. I understand all of this.
I also understand that after waiting a year for a book to be released, one more day (or two) is tortuous. I'm not going to be upset if someone can't wait to read my work, that's for sure. {wink} So if you see it and can't control yourselves, enjoy! And I'll enjoy the dream-come-true that is people actually wanting to read my work. Thank you for that. {s}

Well it may be a dream come true for you that we buy your books but the reverse is true to. Not only do you create a world for us to play in, you come here and hang out with us. That's really cool to. I have to hurry now. I have 9 more books to read before the mail comes Tuesday! I just finished the first Vampire Earth Book and it was pretty good.

I adore David Valentine. He's such a guy. One of the reasons it is bad to have the books out early...the books sold earlier than the official sell date sometimes don't get counted and reported to the folks that make up those best-seller lists. It can make a difference as what number you come up on the list..say #2 instead of #1. Could be a bummer, that, although even to make the list is quite an accomplishment.

Valentine is cool. I just hope there are fewer red shirts as the series goes on. It's rough getting to like these supporting characters only to see them become a happy meal. Once I finish (tater)ToT, I'll get back into it and the other series I am reading. Really looking forward to the mail Tuesday. I hope it shows up on time.
