I'm not sure if anyone else has thought of this yet but me and my lady were laying in bed and she just started book 2, we were talking and the thought popped into my head wouldn't it be cool if Marvel did a comic run of the Zodiac books, kinda like they are doing with the LKH stuff? (and my lady says it should be done like Zane is doing them lol.) I would buy them and I'm sure everyone else here would too, so what does everyone think?

Dear gods I wouldn't want Marvel to touch it, they don't have the best track record for IP rights...though admitedly they wouldn't be going up against another publishing company most of the time...I'd say go indie publisher...there are lots of great ones out there... Though I certainly don't think it would be any time soon...the level of commitment required of Vicki would be pretty high (it was mentioned in another threat kicking around somewhere) which would delay more novels...can't have that! Don't get me wrong, I'd love them and buy them in a heartbeat (have the Anita Blake subscribed at my local shop)...

DL,
Okay, so if you had your druthers, who would you choose?
{curious}

Dabel Brothers did The Dresden Files, I think. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard good things.

You mean for publisher? Maybe Image since I've known an artist who published with them and continues to...id you mean artist to work on it, I would very deffinately have to say Joe Michael Linsner ( www.linsner.com)...I think not only would he be able to draw beautiful, but realistic, women that the series deserves but he's very good about characters and plots...

lol...Good question there! There's always lots of great artists at those (and it always seems like I've met half of them online)...the best way to do it would be to find an artist who's style you really connect with...

Oh, I should get such an opportunity! But I'll certainly do my research. lol! The question is, would you be a true comic geek and go to the con in costume? If so, what?

Honestly? I've _seriously_ been eyeing the Wonder Woman belt buckle. It's so Shi-i-i-iny. {g}
But here's the thing with full costumes: being a showgirl ruined it for me. If I'm getting dressed up, someone better be paying me! (Isn't that awful? But _you_ endure the toll years of eyelash glue takes on your lashes! It ain't pretty m'dear!)

I'd pay you a buck if I could pick the costume. Should we take up a collection?

lol...BA in theater, I know the feeling about getting all dressed up (man I hate dance belts)...the strange thing is, now that I'm no longer in that business there are some aspects that I kinda miss...
