Yep, he got the shop from the previous record keeper, but also knew the terms and conditions of the position. Of course, you can know something and still not really _know_ it until you're living it, right? {wry g}

So, after my visit today, I'm left thinking; What would Zane do for Free Comic Book Day? ;D

First Saturday in May every year comic shops and publishers team up and have created an event that spans the country...most comic shops do something to promote it...heck, my local one has teamed up with the chamber of commerce and library to have events taking place around the city... If there's a comic shop in your area, they might still have some of the shwag left, especially if you're in good with them

In my area, we, the Rebel Legion(a premiere Star Wars costuming group) got brought in to dressup for the customers for Free Comic Book Day

Okay, so I'm rereading and am still curious about something with Zane...the fact that he's the reccord keeper...does that mean he's the only person who draws for all of the Zodiac comics around the world or does he only do Vegas and he just has a special position among the various artists somehow? The implication I got from when the Light comics weren't coming out and he was complaining about backlog was that he only did Vegas but I want to be sure...

My understanding is that he only does Vegas and that, just like there's an agent for each sign, there's a record keeper for each major city.

That's what I've been thinking too, but at the same time they make a comment that he's the reccord keeper which implies that there's something special about him over and above any other artist...at which point what's the difference?

Oooooh, found confirmation in ToN that there's other artists... When she's in Joaquim's private shrine to the comics, she picks up a comic from Phili and notices that the artwork isn't Zane and Carl...

When she's in Joaquim's private shrine to the comics, she picks up a comic from Phili and notices that the artwork isn't Zane and Carl... yes but just because it's not his writing doesn't mean it couldn't have come from the record keeper before him.
