How much for rooms and food. I am poor. This would be a major under taking for me if I do it. Not to mention I have to stock up on AXE...

I've never been, so I don't know. I'm hoping they have it at a Hyatt (and that I still have a job there, lol) so I can get a cheap ass hotel room. Otherwise, I'm kind of screwed.

When I used to go to gaming conventions it was easy to sneak in and sleep in a friends closet. I wonder if that would work? Friends?

Most of the hotel rooms now do not have closets, Vampy... Registration was $465...hotel room with roomie sharing was $350. Food was another $200...2 dinners are included in the registration. Driving ~ 8 hours to Columbus and back was about $100. Not cheap, but maybe doable if you start saving your change now.

Looks like I'd need at least $1200.00 to swing it. Maybe if I set up a "Christmas Club" account kind of thing.

As much as I'd like to go, $1200.00 would go a long ways towards making my life better like a new lawn mower or a hot tub for my aching back.

Hi Jackie! Facebook is an *easy* place to stalk me. If my brain starts throbbing I pop on there and relax for five. Always curious to see what others are up to. Had a great time at MG - it really is an amazing indie bookstore. And, as predicted, I spent a load. Oh well. I'll buy more shelves. It's okay. I'll just keep stalking you on Facebook. lol Have fun at the Con!

I'm here! *waving*
I'm going to take a small sabbatical from the internet to try and finish this sixth book, but I wanted to stop in and say hello first. I hope everyone is having a good summer, staying cool, and getting at least a bit of reading in. As lurker said, we had a great time at the signing, and I stayed in San Diego an extra night since my air conditioning was out at home in Vegas. No reason to rush back, right?
Other than that, and mommy duties of course, it's all book6, all the time.
How's everyone here? And hello to those who've popped into our humble cyber-abode for the first time! Welcome! Best, Vic

Not a big fan of summer for some reasons, and a very big fan for other reasons...I don't like the heat, but I love the things that women wear out in it! (yeah, I can be a good ol' fashion pig, but at least I admit it! If y'all saw Hunter out without a shirt would you? ) Good luck with the writing Vicki! We have faith in you, and you know we'll take good care of your cyber-home while you're gone!
