Is it like peeterson or pet-terson? One would seem obvious, but with people's names I'm never sure. I always thought my daughter's name was obvious until I heard it mangled seven ways to Sunday.

I have heard it as Pet-ters-son. Until then I thought Peter-son. When in doubt, I go with Showgirl or Mistress Vicki

Is it like peeterson or pet-terson? It's Pet-ter, like letter. Pet-tersson. Unless you're in Sweden. Then it's Pet-ter-shun. But I'm not. I'm in America. So even Peeterson is fine with me.

Well, I've hear it pronounced "lay" lines most often...I think that's a regional thing...And just because Vicki doesn't write about ley lines doesn't mean she wouldn't know how it's pronounced

It's that damn demon's name that drives me bonkers. Honestly, I make it up as I go along so I know how to say it in my head as I read. Anything, that is. Names, cities, whatever. Or it bugs me.
