Is anyone else addicted to her Cassie Palmer series..? or her Dorina Basarab series? Cassandra Palmer can see the future and communicate with spirits-talents that make her attractive to the dead and the undead. The ghosts of the dead aren't usually dangerous; they just like to talk...a lot. The undead are another matter. Dorina Basarab is a dhampir—half-human, half-vampire. Subject to uncontrollable rages, most dhampirs live very short, very violent lives. So far, Dory has managed to maintain her sanity by unleashing her anger on those demons and vampires who deserve killing. I recommend reading the Cassie palmer series first as it sets up most of the characters as few pop up in Dorina's books. If you have not read them i recommend it they are fun to read lots of different species in there - Vamps, mages, gargoyles, incubus, demons & so on. Any one else out there that shares my opinion..?

Yes the heroines a very cool I was excited she announced there would be a second Dorina book as i absolutely loved the first one, can't wait to see if Louis-Cesare comes back & what will happen between them = ) My favorite character has to be Pritkin though, he is so much fun to read but there is also Mircea is up there too. Who do you like the best?

Pritken!? Can't say he's my favorite character, but he's suchhh a moody SOB that it's HILARIOUS! Yum. Mircea. Luvs him! Lol, I like how he's such a ruthless, powerful, manipulative bastard but still has a soft side for Cassie and his family. FYI: I still can't believe he's Dori's dad!
And Louis Cesar? I feel really bad for him! And i so can't wait to see what happens with them too...I wonder how long it will take them to get together...
What was your favortite book in the Cassie Palmer series? I think mine was definitely the first...

I did love the first one but i have to say my fave so far was the second I love how Cassie & Pritkin's relationship develops (hate & friendship) with the touching him & the geis not happy about it, also when she storms the Vamp headquarters to rescue Tomas . Mercia god love his tender side, I liked how scared he was when he thought Cassie would be the more powerful & dominant one that made me laugh Yeh poor ol Louis-Cesaer he has had a rough time but i think she is planning on Dory helping him sort of get over it & move on well i hope so Looking forward to the next one of each

LOL yeah who woulda thought Cassie would be dominant anything!? The poor girl just a semblance of a normal life and she gets to be freakin's Pythia! Can't wait to see how Cassie and Mircea act as a couple....thats gonna be really entertaining no doubt!

I have read both. I liked both series, but I like Dori's series a little more. I like Mircea and Louis-Cesaer. You get to see different sides of sides of them in each series.
