But the manual she bought was Zoe Archer's successful entree back into the world. Then Zane and Jo on about if Jo is acknowledged for giving the doppelganger a name then turned it loose on the Tupla and bringing the 3rd sign to life in that manual. Page 398 and 399 (first 2 pages of chapter 31. So it was the week of the great battle.

Correct, which means that manual ends with the battle between the tulpas and then after that is the scene with Hunter...

Hey from Montana! I run a bookstore and came across Vicki's book (1st one)when it hit the stands. I am not much into urban fantasy, dont read laurel K or harrison (gasp) or authors of that particular genre. I like fantasy or hard core sci fi... space stuff you know I also read lots of other stuff i.e. classics, literary etc. One needs to, to run a book store. At any rate a friend who had some dealings with Vicki in an online writers group came in and suggested the book. Like any good bookie I figured I would give it a try.... when the 3rd book hit our store it didn't even make it out of the box before I had my copy! Love this series! Can't wait for the next one. Unfortunately it only took 2 days (if that for me to go thru the newest book) Awesome characters and great story line. Keep up the outstanding work.

I saw somewhere on this site that Vicki gives kudos to Diana Gabaldon. She is one of my all time fav authors. I am waiting on several authors to get new books out. It seems they are hitting this fall. Its going to be a long summer

I love Diana Gabaldon too~although I have a couple of hers that I still need to read. (Love that Jamie...) It didn't take me long to read (tater) ToT either...I'm re-reading slowly this time to see if I can pick up anything I missed the first go 'round.

I was a member there for years, and still lurk on occasion. And if you're in Montana I bet the person who came in was Suze, also a writer (paranormal YA) and a member here as well. She'll probably find you soon. (Read between the lines: stalker! ) Anyway, thanks for giving me a chance even though UF isn't your normal thing. It gives me hope that I'm coloring (or scribbling) outside the lines. {g}

i just have one more question, Are we to assume that skamar is a force for the light since she was given life by Zoe and a name by Jo, or is she just fighting the tulpa to gain his ppower and the collective life energy that he has attainded over the years?
