Not an author, but as we were talking about FIREFLY and HEROES...
Please tell me I'm not the only one here who's a total VERONICA MARS addict? That first season killed it...and the way they made me love a character who started out completely repulsive (if you've seen it you'll get the character reference)...truly magical writing.
I'm still working my way through season 3, just savoring it before it ends. {sigh}
If I dream terribly bit, I see Rob Thomas as the director for a Zodiac series. That would be awesome!
(Back to my wine...)

I never got a chance to see it when it was on UPN but I finally got to when it hit CW and I really liked the show...too bad it died so quickly then...it had great potential for many more seasons... The actress is doing the voice work for Gossip Girl and had a great character on Heroes! Hmm, I think we need a Movies/TV forum here too

I loved the first two seasons, the third, not so much. (Never bought the third on DVD).
Just when I ~think~ I'm over being annoyed that this one got canceled, I watch the first season again, and am reminded how much more there was to explore with these characters that we never got to see.
I've heard there's a possibility of a VM comic book to continue the story, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Thanks to the magic of Netflix and my addiction to Heroes, I watched all of the VM series. When I found out "VM" was going to join the Heroes cast, I had to see her previous work. Over all it was really good. Kristen Bell now play Elle on Heroes and she is so messed up in the head and very twisted. She owns her character and is a great addition to the show. Jason Dohring had a role in Moonlight. He made a great senior vampire. I really liked this show but Fox killed it. I am sure all of the Buffy/Angle fans loved Charisma Carpenter's role in Veronica Mars. She is so pretty. I hope she's nicer in person than the characters she plays. Oh almost forgot, Joss W. was a guest star in one of the VMs.

I think she has a movie coming out soon too. Oh, and Jason Dohring (Logan) is on that vampire series...MOONLIGHT, I think. I love him. Good point about the movie section. I'll talk to the boss...

[ Dang, Vampy! How do you know all this? Any idea what Rob Thomas is doing now? I don't know what Rob Thomas is up to. I had to Google him to see who he was. I know it because I am an avid TV viewer. When K. Bell was added to the Heroes cast, I had no idea who she was. When I found out I watched all the Veronica Mars DVDs. Of course I had to watch Moonlight, it was about a vampire. I try to watch all things vampy. I saw Jason D. In the opening credits. Another interesting cast member on Heroes is David Anders. He was Sark on Alias. I am now finishing up alias DVDs. Now when I re watch my Heroes, I see Sark instead of the character he is supposed to be. Another actor from alias is on Heroes, Greg Grunburg. He plays a mind reading cop named Matt Parkman. Have you heard of the new Star Trek movie that's in production? The new Spock is Zack Quento, Heroes main villain, Sylar. OK that's enough for now.

I never got into Star Trek, and I thought they totally screwed up Star Wars with the prequels. Less is sometimes more!

I loved Star trek.. then I saw Babylon 5. B5 was the best ever sci-fi show ever..well until Firefly came along. I would have loved to see Firefly have a run like Buffy or Angle did.
If you're not familiar with Babylon 5, i recommend checking it out. It's extremely good.

If you're not familiar with Babylon 5, i recommend checking it out. It's extremely good. I'm beginning to think that we're clones Vamp! B5, Heroes and BSG are my top three favorite shows of all times...B5 is basically a soap opera set in space much of the time...enough action and drama both to satisfy pretty much everyone...it was the gateway I used to convince my wife that not all Sci-fi was simply horror or action, that it is possible to have great plots and good character developement in the genre... Oh, and check out IMDB.com if you want to follow an actor, director, writer or whatnot...
