This is one of the few series that shocked me! I'm not sure I've ever seen anything so witty and yet so gruesome! The series is about two sisters who are obsessed with death when one of them gets bitten... The series is fucked up and brilliant! The humor is so dark and yet sarcastic that its hard not to love the sisters! Well... okay... Briget is lovable. Ginger was a bit of a bit then a bit crazy... I cannot preach about this series enough! It's a trilogy of movies made in Canada and sadly wasn't so popular here in the states.

I have the original on VHS somewhere, but I wasn't aware there are more of them...I'll have to check it out...

I have seen them all. Loved them as well.
my favorite was the one at the fort deep in the Canadian forest. I don't remember which one it was but I think it was the best.

I have seen them all. Loved them as well. my favorite was the one at the fort deep in the Canadian forest. I don't remember which one it was but I think it was the best. Thats the third one! Its the least goriest one but its just so fun and the ending just rules! Its the prequel to the rest. EDIT: My favorite was the second just for the WTF factor of the ending. XD

I remember seeing that one in the fort on TV one night when I couldn't sleep. It was like watching a train wreck, I just couldn't stop watching even if I tried.

If I felt embarrassed, this movie might be a guilty pleasure...I have to admit it's not all that great, but it's a lot of fun...

Thats how I feel about it. Except I really like the whole thing. The graphics were poor but other than that...
I'm just drawn into the movies for some reason.

Well, the plot isn't too bad (from what I remember)...sometimes that's the key...I have a friend who's a Garage-Budget Horror film maker and we were discussing recently how too many people are looking for the big special effects adn whatnot and ignoring more interesting plot and character development...

exactly! Like the Covenant sucked ass because it was all special effects and it was all so undeveloped! The idea was great but it was like a male version of charmed with cool effects.

Pretty much...I did like it, but could have been much better...now what we need is something new with both the finances but also the great plot/characters...

That'd be great! But lets see if something ever gets produced with that.
Why can't we get a lot of really good movies that wow like Night of the Living Dead! Awesome movie! Both the 63 and the 90's versions. The 90's one had a bit more development and realism.

Haven't actually seen either...though I've had 28 days later (and the other related) reccomended as very well done modern zombie movies...

Ick... NO. the 28 series was HORRIBLE. I wanted to like flush my eyes out with acid after watching that movie! It was just so bland and boring. The first one was just flat and the second one had potential and was slightly better.

I saw the last one first and liked it enough to watch the others.
