The last bit of info I heard was that it's officially off the air here in the States. The producers were looking for more backers in Canada, where the show was filmed, and possibly another network. All this was taking place back in January or February, but I haven't heard anything on it since then, which is a major bummer. That's pretty much the same story I heard about The Dresden Files show before it went quietly into the night. Man, all the shows I like are canceled!

Yep. The networks cancel all the good ones. At least I have "True Blood" (based on Charlaine Harris's Sookie books) to look forward to on HBO this fall. I just hope it doesn't suck (no pun intended).

I can't tell you why I know it will kick serious A$$ (I work for Charlaine as her continuity editor), but trust me when I say this one will be so shocking and dark and a most excellent way to spend your Sunday evenings at 9PM. Although CH Has NOTHING to do with the production of the show, Alan Ball is kind enough to pass on info and some she can pass on to me as well. I'll keep you guys in the loop as much as I can without endangering my source...hehehe!

That is great news. Thanks for sharing. Between Blood Ties and Moonlight getting staked, I am jonesing for some fresh vampiric goodness (badness?) on TV. And Alan Ball is a wonderful talent.

I'll put anything I can share in the True Blood heading. Not much I can actually pass on yet. I expect more info will be forthcoming over the summer.

However, I do have a feeling these episodes will be all over the net so you may not have to wait for the end of the season for the DVD.
