just a reminder that his show starts tonight. It looks like a cross between Moonlight and Desperate Housewives.
It's your typical normal family moves to a gated community where the husband is to become the new sheriff. What they don't know is the community is made up of Vamps and weres and who knows what else.
Since most of us are big Sookie fans, we will probably like this show as well.. It comes on right after True Blood on ABC. I hope it's as good as it looks.

I think the time slot was intentional. But won't most of us be in chat at that time?

Probably but that shouldn't affect what's on the TV or what I am watching. I just hope they do this show right and enough people like it to keep it on a while.
One of my biggest fears, especially since Twilight became so popular is that the film and TV market will become flooded with UF material to the point everyone will get sick of seeing it. Then we'll be off on to the next new hottest thing/trend.

I watched that tonight without having heard anything about it before when it started (I just happened to have left the tv on that channel). I was fairly amused by it, but I haven't been won over.
I figure I can give it a few weeks to pick up momentum and see where it goes.

I watched it on Hulu today. I really liked it. I'll keep watching for a bit more. Coming on right after TB may help them out a lot.

At first I was confused about the vamp woman being outside in daylight. I was thinking, "New show, new rules." Then they tossed in what I call the "OH!" scene where she seems to be using something like sun block, misses a spot and gets burned by a random sun beam.

I had my teen set it to record and he found where they were rerunning the pilot. Yes, I am technically challenged and couldn't do it myself. Just nevermind about that

I'll watch the pilot and then go to hulu if I like it. I always worry these new shows will be like soap operas with supernatural themes plugged in. *snort*

I'm just not sure guys. I watched the pilot and it was okay. The problem with being a Joss fan is that I want some sarcasm in my TV. LOL I liked the vamp husband better than the wife. The bitchy tea shop chick screamed "soap opera" to me for some reason. I will give it a chance, especially since I've been bitchy this week and maybe I will like it better next time. LOL
