Oh, it was awesome!
Some highlights:
"Normal Vegas" = oxymoron. Good one, Vic.
When asked about costumes, Vicki said:
"I don't do costumes. I'm a retired, worn-down showgirl. If you're not paying me, I'm not putting it on."
(No fun.)
Jeaniene has yet to have a vampire come up to her and say, "You got that all wrong."
Jocelynn- "Is there really a line you can't cross?" ;D
Kim Harrison called in, and asked if the authors feel as if they believe more in the creepy things now that they write in the genre or no.
Vicki said she believes in vampires more now because she reads Kim's books.
My question was "What genre do you prefer reading when you aren't writing?"
I liked Mark's answer, that he stays out of his own genre because he's like a sponge and he doesn't want to pick up on anyone else's material.
I love all the giggles!
And when the one hour was up, the authors still wanted to stick around, even though the radio station was shutting the podcast off. I could still hear them on my phone, all being like, "Hello? Anybody there?" And laughing their crazy asses off. They said they wanted to go to Fangs, Fur and Fey to answer the rest of the fan questions that were brought up in the chat room that they didn't get to address during the podcast. Isn't that awesome?

Did you really have fun? I thought it was great; I loved hearing the other authors talk about their thoughts and processes.
SO funny that you could still hear us afterwards. I was the one who told everyone to go grab their flasks. {eg}

Dude, I went into the chatroom, signed up as "LITA" and posted a question to Jeaniene, but it was too late.  It was an innocent question and all, but... hee hee hee... Oh, and your voice is kinda high, but not Minnie Mouse on crack, so don't go there. More like a Disney princess. I forgot it's the first time alot of the people here got to hear your voice. Aww... ;D |

I was the one who told everyone to go grab their flasks. {eg} Um, what i said was that your voice was higher than i expected. it sucked that there was no sound, and somehow i ended up trying to relay what all you authors were saying. these nails ain't made for speed typing. Raven we coulda used yer help. AND you were in the chat room and didn't say HI? well.... I heard you guys after you got hung up on too...that was funny. Leave it to you to mention getting your flasks. i was typing away like a demon on speed and missed alot of the chatter in the chat room...  And it was so cool when Kim came into the chatroom! I can't type as fast as people talk! It's the nails I tell ya! Oh and I guess I'll find out what the damage is on my cell bill next month...oh well, was worth it. I don't get out much, so any little bit of entertainment is worth the price I have to pay. |
