I had watermelon and a really nice cheese burger with onions and mush rooms. I make a mean burger. The melon was so cold it hurt my teeth. No kittens were harmed in the making of the cheese burger. Some were doused with water as they tried to steal it though.

Millie has been barking for the last hour so once the Philanthropist went off, I went to see what the excitement was all about. I saw something laying in the grass. i went back in the house ans put on some pants and got my 'grabbers. It seems an opossum got caught by the dogs in the back yard. It was doing its 'feign death' act.(I think) I took my grabbers and grabbed it by the tail. yep the tail looped around so it was alive.. i kept dropping it on it's head even though it was secretly trying to hang on so I just grabbed the tail with my left hand and blocked the rest of it with the grabbers. I set it gently down on the other side of the fence in the neighbor's yard. I'm pretty sure it's OK. It was too dark to get a good look at but it did grip my fingers a little with it's tail. It looked a little like this I just checked on the 'possum. It's still there but alive now. It was growling and hissing at me. It may be injured, I can't tell for sure. I gave it some food. They like hard dog food. The dog food is gone and so is the critter.

my happy is kinda random ... but it does make me happy ... was wandering around the mall with a friend today and we saw this store that had a bunch of neat tea pots in the window, so we went in to find a TEA shop ... like seriously. they have all kinds of REAL loose tea and marvelous tea set and even stuff for Macha tea (is green frothy stuff from Japan) and lots of neat, yummy smelling things. and they had stuff that you could try that they have made up. the guy at the door that was supposed to be giving free samples was too busy flirting with some girls that were SO not interested in buying tea, so we went in and talked to the guy that works at the apple store and works at the tea place one day a week to feed his habit. *laughs* he said they even have a ford engineer that works there one day a week just for the discounts on tea. my friend ended up buying a full pound of tea of a variety of flavors and I got 1/2 pound of two kinds mixed together. one is kinda chocolatey and the other has a nice cinnamon taste to it and they go really well together. the chocolatey one is MateVerna (I think) and the other was Roobius Chai ... the mate has a lot of caffeine, but the chai tempers it out, which is good, cause I've had 3 cups tonight since we got home and I need to go to bed cause I have work in the morning. also, got this REALLY cool brewing cup system thingy. it has a filter in the bottom and a top that really reminds me of a coffee pot lid and a little coaster it can sit on. so what you do, is you put your tea leaves in, and then add your hot water, and let it steep for a while and then, you take the brewer off the coaster and set it on top of your mug. it presses a little valve type thing up and the tea just drains out into your mug, leaving all the tea leaves behind. and its great if you have tea leaves that you can use multiple times, cause you can just leave them in there for a little while to wait for your next cup. I think I'll be taking tea with me to work from now on, quite happily.
also, more neat, cause I work in the mall, I got a mall employee discount, which rocked, plus, I was told I could go in there pretty much whenever I was working in the mall, and they'd make me tea, whatever I wanted to drink. so much awesome. I believe they will be my new best friends, especially over holidays. I'm hoping we get a store in that wing now ... it'd be so awesome.
