Eww? Why Eww? It's what cats do. It's her fault it got in here anyway. She caught it outside almost 2 months ago and it hid in my kitchen for the whole time. The little dumb ass came out last night and both cats were right there. Fuzzy is much faster and more experienced than TYPO so she got it. She is a very smug and happy cat today.

It was clean from the fields, not some nasty ass sewer rat. They also make great pets if you can catch them before your cat does.

We got one of those nasty ass sewer rats in our darkroom processor a few years back (in the old building). It was in there for two days(too smart for the traps all over the darkroom) and the exterminator finally skewered it and the nasty thing was hissing at him until it finally bought the farm. Processor guy had to clean rat hair and feces out of the processor which made him very unhappy...that one rat totally closed down our dept. for two days and cost us thousands of dollars in revenue.
We x-rayed the rat after its demise...It had a skull fracture and 6 broken ribs (from the repeated stabbings). We still have the x-ray somewhere in the dept. It was huge, measured 18 inches from nose to tip of tail. Must have weighed close to 4 lbs.

I didn't get to measure Fuzzy's rat. She wouldn't let me have it. after losing it once, she was taking no chanced. I would guess he was about 14 inches from nose to tail tip. Probably about 2 lbs.

I miss having a pet rat. They're awesome. I'd rather have a ferret though, if I can persuade Mr. B that more pets = better.

My sister has had ferrets and they were great. I'd love to have one but I think Fuzzy would eat it.

I think Fuzzy would eat a purse dog if she could figure out how to.

I don't know. Fuzzy is a prety ypough little kitty. She has killed squirrels that aren't much smaller than a ferret. I'd not want to risk it either way.
