I thought that was odd too. You'd think a place like that would have the ability AND reason to find out everything about potential clients.

^^Yeah, I'm sensing a pattern here. I believe someone on the inside is sabotaging things. Last week the brain implant was funky because they gave Echo the memories of someone that was kidnapped and abused by the "bad guy" she was attempting to thwart. Now this week, she gets sent on the camping date from hell! Somethings up, I tell ya!

Ooooh, interesting concept there...but last week's was understandable, just bad fortune that it happened to be one of the kidnappers...what are the chances of that, honestly?

I'm just praying the ratings improve.
I thought the second episode was better than the first. The first episode got stuck with tons of exposition, and somehow I didn't think it was especially compelling. Too much 'first episode' vibe.

so far, tonight's episode is awesome ... Eliza singing and being obsessive protecty is so much fun ... too bad as soon as the informant guy said he would want to belong to a Doll House to have all his crap erased, I knew he was one ... too predictable in the 'we're going to cast suspicion over here at this person so you ignore the real bad guy' kind of distraction technique.

I really like the whole concept of her thinking outside the box...and yeah it can be just as dangerous...besides, she's clearly retaining some memory...

OK, we're three shows in now and I think each episode was better than the last.
I think someone may be working against the Dollhouse from the inside. It may even be Echo herself. That would be an interesting twist.
I also like Amy Acker as the doctor. She is very interesting.
I think the 'brain tech' guy is a total dick. He's way too full of himself.

I noticed that this episode Amy Acker is listed as a guest star.... I hope that she gets to stick around.

I noticed that too. The more Whedon alumni the better, as far as I'm concerned.

I deffinately think there's someone working against it inside...and Echo probably is involved...but she's the second agent...she agreed to sign up so that they could have an active agent and not just a mole...
I also foresee that at some point they take all of those recorded personalities and compile them, whether to try to figure out her moves when she gets total recal or to make her an ulitmate agent, I'm not sure yet...
