Well, I rolled into the garage last night on my trip home from DC, my husband had to drive the whole way because I was medicated to the gills and trying not to hack out a lung. My temp is over a hundred today and my husband picked it up at Walmart for me, so I have it but I can't concentrate enough to read. I think I have pneumonia. Will post more when I can read it. I am looking forward to doing so, but don't want to spoil it by reading it when I can't concentrate.

Debi, SO sorry you're sick as well -- get rest and get better soon, okay? As for the rest of you miscreants-- I have it on good word that if you want to talk to Jeaniene, she's guesting over on the romancenoveltv.com boards www.romancenovel.tv/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3144 and she's a chatty chick! Go poke and prod at her for More. Bones. (Tell her Vic sent ya! )

Hi everyone! I'm de-lurking at last . Really hope all of you like One Foot in the Grave, or Halfway to the Grave, if you're starting at the beginning. Which I am obsessive about, by the way. Does anyone else HAVE to start a series at the beginning? Or can you pick up wherever and go from there? I could just be weird with my "must read from the first book" tendencies with series - it wouldn't be the only thing I'm weird over .

hey Jeaniene, YES! i have to start series from the beginning. i used to pick up books randomly at the bookstore, get home ready to sink my teeth only to find out that it's book 2 or 3 in the series and i can't read it till i get the first ones. now i get most of my books online and make sure that i get the first book read first. and now i'll be ordering your two books as well--woohoo! so many books, so little time. bright blessings, Miki

Welcome Jeaniene! Not only do I have to read series from the beginning, I also force my friends to do the same by loaning them one book at a time, in order. BTW, Halfway is on the top of my TBR pile, so I'll be jumping in soon!

I'm certainly there with you! I totally need to start at the beginning of a series...which is why I'm stoked I managed to find Halfway just in time for One Foot to be released! Great to se you de-lurk!

Good to know there are OCD read-in-order freaks like me. Now I don't feel so alone . It made me crazy to wait to read book three in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, when my book store only had one and three, but I refused to read three until I'd gotten a copy of two (which I had to wait for while they ordered it). DebiM, hope you feel better!

You're welcome, Debi. Weeee for OCD! Welcome, Jeaniene! I loves Black Dagger Brotherhood series too, by the way. (wrong thread, I know.) (Now if only these authors would realize they can separate their first and last names and capitalize!) *ahem, Vic!*

Thank you all, I felt ok to go to work today, had trouble concentrating, but after doing this stuff for almost 30 years, it doesn't take much brain power.
I will try to start the book tonight, in between laundry and sorting out all the stuff I brought home from the two conventions.

(Now if only these authors would realize they can separate their first and last names and capitalize!) *ahem, Vic!* God, glad to know I'm not the only one it bugs. XD And welcome to the board Jeaniene.
