For some reason, the crazy father reminds me of Dr. Phlox from Enterprise.
The show does drip with gooeyness. It's almost too much for me to. If they'd tell the story with less, I'd be happier.

Gotta say...sucked in as well. A bit gooey, yes, but it seems about the same as Criminal MInds and thats been around a while and just as creepy IMHO We clearly have similar tastes Eryk.

I agree the bald guy is like the smoking man. I said that just today. Though I think he isn't human.
And yes, they better have a darned good explanation for the boyfriend to be around. And I want to know the son's real origins and who he's hiding from right now. I think the son is one of the clone type creations like in the previous ep.
I don't think I even care what the 'pattern' is. I just like the ride finding out. It's like Hitchcock's 'McGuffin' It's the really important thing that the characters must find/have/destroy whatever, but it's not what the real plot is about.
Having fun with it.

I don't think the hairless guy is human either. I'm sure there are all kinds of theories about what all the little symbols on the act outs mean and what the pattern is but I don't care. I just want to watch the show and enjoy it. I am already to involved in Heroes to take on another show like that.

The sandwitch scene was great. A shaker full of Pepper, half a bottle of hot sauce and 11 Jalapenos just so he could taste it.( I think that was it.) I could handle it except for all the black pepper I think. Maybe less hot sauce to.

What about the electro magnetic guy? Poor guy, felt sorry. And now the walking dead BF? In her mind or not. What are your thoughts

I am liking this show more as it goes. The crazy scientist dude does remind one of Dr. Phlox for some reason. But I love the dead BF in her head (maybe?) part. Maybe I just love looking at Mark Valley when he isn't covered by goo and veins.
