I keep trying to introduce people to books, but few seem to listen...

I know that feeling. Might have to resort to what my mom does. Give friends the book I like for their birthday and Christmas. XD

Good idea...spread the author love and take care of gift obligations at the same time. Very, very efficient...and practical!

I used to try and give my books to people I know. It's about like offering them a 3 year old fruit cake.
Then I decided to give them all to the library. Now I miss my books, especially Kim's and Vicki's.
The good news is Kim's books are coming out this year in hard back. I'm going to buy them as they get released. Dead Witch Walking will be out at the end of this month.
I think I'll send it to her for signing once I get it.

You're asking for logical reasoning out of Vampy!?

I was trying to do what everyone else is doing, giving books away to get people interested in my favorite authors. It just didn't work here. The books don't have much to do with NASCAR, hunting or fishing and there are very few 'nekkid' women in them.
I live in the area where Jeff Foxworthy gets his red neck jokes from.

Kim posted on the drama box that the hardcover for DEAD WITCH WALKING will be released at the end of April and it's on Amazon for preorder. Maybe a good opportunity to replenish your supply Vampyre?

Way a head of you, I've had it on preorder since it fist became available. I plan on buying the whole hard bound set and having Kim sign them. How's the Drama? I've not been there for a while.

Oooooh, you missed the disgruntled RT'er in the drama box?? If it's still there, in red letters no doubt, someone posted on Kim's own site about how disappointed they were with her that she and "Guy" wouldn't let her and her friends sit at their table at the RT Conf. dinner because they were "saving" seats. I can't imagine how people can take things so personally. Scroll down it was a couple of days ago.

I checked it out. Kim put a nice positive spin on it. Here is a tip for people. If you don't like the answer you may get then don't ask the question. Just move on.

Wow... I just read the red comment and that was just sad. Its sad that people take things like that so personally. If their saved, thir saved. Its not THAT big of a deal.
