I finished head rush by Carolyn crane, Shadow reader by Sandy Williams, and Blood Bound by Rachel Vincent in one week! That has to be a record for me I have to look for more books and do not want to re-read anything.

Death's Hand, A Dark Urban Fantasy (The Descent Series) by S.M.Reine. It's a Kindle freebie so it may be free for other ereaders.
It's about a girl and her mentor. They used to hunt and fight demons(Kay?) After a horrific encounter, they decide to retire. Events are unfolding to draw them back into the fight.
It' the first book of a new author and so far, it's very good.

I read THE IMMORTAL LIFE OF HENRIETTA LACKS and was absolutely captivated!
If you are alive today, you are affected by this true story. It's appalling, shocking, inspiring, sad and informative and a million things.
It's also being made into a movie by Oprah and Alan Ball for HBO.
It will open your eyes. Read it!

You're welcome, Vampy!
I have been reading Kindle freebies lately, but there have not been any that I would really want to recommend to anyone I call friend, more's the pity.
