You mean for real? I thought you were pretty urban. i didn't expect you all to have skunks.

I'm serious. It's a nice night, weather-wise and I thought I'd leave the window open for a breeze. Maybe not. Eww.

*bursts out in laughter* Oh god! I'm so sorry Raven.. That must be bad. My neighbors are from india and they are always cooking the weirdest things and lighting incenses. the two together don't smell so good. and you can smell it all the way down the hall.

I'm pretty rual and have had to deal with the skunk smell on a regular basis. So far I've been lucky that none of my critters have ever been skunked.
I've seen them up close and I know what the little stamping of the front feet means. They don't have to tell me twice.

no skunks out here yet, but i'm sure they're coming. yes they have those little stamping feet, but it's when they turn around is when you better get outta the way. =) but they do have those cute faces.

I had a dog run away and come back reeking of skunk funk once. Boy, was he a dumb-ass. A sweetheart, but dumb as hell.

I live in the suburbs and there are a lot of skunks here. I almost stepped on one that was on my front step as I was leaving to take the dog for a walk before going to bed. It was dark, I got one look at the skunk I was almost stepping on, and Kirby and I flew inside and slammed the door! Whew! Don't usually see them, tho, just smell them. And my last dog, Samm, got sprayed some years back. I could smell the stench even before I turned onto my street. And it took months to get rid of the smell. Ah, the good times!

Apparently we have skunks living in the field behind our house...I've never seen one but my wife spotted one wandering in and out of our next door neighbor's porch...he was the one who informed me they lived right behind our house...

I like all animals even skunks. They just get no respect.
We have a lot of animals running around here. About the only time i see them, they are dead on the side of the road or hanging from Fuzzy's mouth.
Once I saw a dead armadillo(well i see them all the time really) and someone put a beer can between its paws for a joke.
