Star Wars: The Clone WarsYeah, I went to the theatre to see a cartoon Star Wars movie. And I liked it. Anakin was reluctantly assigned a padawan in this movie, a Togruta girl named Ahsoka Tano. She's adorable and spunky. Definitely a hero for little girls. Anakin calls her "Snips." She calls him "Sky Guy." (He hates it.) Ahsoka & Anakin. There was a new bad guy in this movie too. She was awesome! Check this beeotch out. Her name is Asajj Ventress and she fights dirty. She battles with 2 red lightsabers and did the majority of her fighting against Obi-Wan, who was a total pimp. It was awesome. Christopher Lee returned to do the voice of Count Dooku, which rocked, because his voice is just HAUNTING. Anthony Daniels also returned as the voice of C-3PO and Samuel L. Jackson returned as the voice of Mace Windu, but those were pretty small parts. The rest of the main characters were voiced by new actors and I think it was obvious, but not bothersome enough to ruin the movie or anything. I mean, it's a cartoon. I'm not that anal. Not enough Padme. No love scenes at all. Just hinted at stuff. But the movie had a happy ending and left it open for the supposed tv show. Because, let's face it. Anakin didn't have a padawan in Episode 3. And this movie took place between 2 and 3. So they gotta do something with her in there.

Asajj actually comes from the Clone Wars mini-cartoon from cartoon network...There's two DVDs that came out around about the time of Revenge of the Sith...

There was talk of making a sequel to the Taken mini series but as far as I know, nothing has come of it. After the Stand, that is my favorite mini series of all time.

Saw Tropic Thunder last week...Really stupid movie and few parts were pretty funny. The only thing i really enjoyed was Tom Cruise, he was hilarious and that's saying a lot 'cause i usually cant stand him. Also saw Death Race with Jason Statham...It was pretty good. Lots of shit blowin up and racing, obviously. And Jason without a shirt is a definite bonus for the girls...that man is RIPPED Also saw Babylon AD yesterday with Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh. Good movie up until the end...the last 10minutes completly destroyed it.

I want to see all of those, but most likely they'll be rentals...though I'm a big enough Vin Diesel fan to pick that one up...

Deathlynx...They weren't phenonomenal movies so renting is a pretty good idea. You might want to rent the Vin one too though, my brother said the DVD director's cut will probably be better. It felt like the theather version was chopped up, like it was missing some scenes...

Nathalie, thanks for letting us know. I was considering seeing Tropic Thunder. I had no idea Tom Cruise was even in it. (I can't stand him either. Ick.)

Raven, when i went to see it I had no idea either. It was a pretty entertaining surprise...and since Tom Cruise's whole jumping on Opera's couch thing I've avoided anything that has to do with him...but this was pretty funny
