Apparently the thing in the suitcase was something called "The Cosmic Cube" which will be featured in the Captain America movie coming later this summer. See Wikipedia for more info.
I liked Thor a lot! Lots of cool visuals. Did not see it in 3D which was okay with me.
Also, did anyone notice Stan Lee driving the truck that tried to pull the hammer out of the rock??

Stan was hilarious. The truck is nearly totailed he shouts out, "Did I get it?!"
Now off to see wha a cosmic cube is.

Yes, Stan Lee is adorable and always fun to spot.
I went and saw THOR and missed the extra scene at the end. WHAT HAPPENED? Loki survived that fall and something gives us hope that Thor can get back to Earth to shag Padme?
I did not see it in 3D. That shit gives me headaches. I imagine the bridge looked pretty sweet.
I thought the movie was okay. It was a typical superhero movie. The cliche lines and predictable plot, IMO. It didn't blow me away. He ooooozed testosterone and made me wish I had someone to go home and climb. Damn.
I thought it was funny that Stellan Skarsgard played a dude named Eric, just like son Alexander plays a vamp named Eric on True Blood.

Eric is brought into a basement level of shield where he jokes that at least he's not being brought in to be erased (or some other suitable analogy) and meets with Nick Fury...Nick shows him a strangely glowing blue cube and tells him they need to figure it out...when they leave, Loki's reflection appears in some glass nearby...

Thanks! Was it the same actor who appeared in the other movies' "easter eggs" as him?

Yeah, Samuel L was uncredited for it but it's him...Interestingly enough, Hawkeye (the archer) was also uncredited in the movie...

I'm not sure how closely they are following the comics but I feel like they are doing a great job over all in introducing characters and upcoming stories. They are trying to make it all fit in one world. For example, in the Capt. America trailer, one of the scientist is Dr. Stark and that's just one of many.

Umm...Vamp, it all does fit in one world...Marvel's been interweaving their various stories for decades...The Dr. Stark in question is Tony's father (or quite possibly grandfather given that that all takes place in the 40s)...They're setting everything up for the upcoming Avengers movie next year, which consists of Iron Man, Hulk, Cap, Thor and a whole bunch of others who they've been introducing in the other movies (like Hawkeye drawing down on Thor with his bow or Black Cat in IM2)...

Yep, I know. That's what I was trying to say. I don't know all of the characters but when the archer/sniper was shown. I figured he was someone like that.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2.
I thought it was slow boring and depressing. I was not a a good mood when I saw it so maybe it was just me. I paid extra to see the 3D version but didn't really see anything that looked very 3D. The only redeeming thing is the last scene. I was hoping it was in the movie and it was a lot like I remember it from the book. 3/5 wands
